well first of all there are way to many cracks in there, then you need to blend the skull in a bit more and finally you need to saturate your face a bit

It doesn't look very zombified, just very... dead.

 

It'd look a lot more believable if you used some more subtle accents and softer lines. At the moment the cracks look like a layer you really slapped on there, if you blended it a bit more it'd look nicer.

heres some zombie work i did back in halloween,

 

this pic here was my MSN display picture for months..

 

then for halloween i did this..

 

 

remember zombies arent skully/boney at all realy, if so coated in blood and meat, there meaty so get picts of dead sh*t and collide it with your face

 

 

* ooo and anotehr thing if you look at the zombified one of that babe, you can see blatant human parts that look unmarked cuz i rushed it. for some extra marks try and make hair look scraggy and skin look dirty, but remember you want who ever your zombifiying to look like the original person still so people can be like "wow its you zombified!"

That's pretty much it. They look sickly, discolored, bloated and generally disinterested (hey hey, like pornstars!)

 

I like how the chick in your zombified picture goes from looking awkward to looking like she's about to cry

Well, it's okay.

 

The skull looks as if it was just slapped on with a soft blur around the edges. It doesn't blend to well with the rest of the image, in my opinion.

take the gradiant tool to the edges of the skull to give it a nice feather effect, or use the eraser with feather, but yeah remove a few cracks and blend the skull and top it off with a little color correcting so the skull matches the lighting. Other than that, nice job, take a look at some of thses, they may inspire you
