Ghost00710
Yesterday my GTA SA was working perfectly. I was playing with CLEO and it crushed my GTA. I Formated my PC and my GTA is shutting off after intro movies, just when menu should appear. What should I do?
Girish
Did you actually format your entire PC or do you mean you reinstalled the game? In either case, if there's a gta_sa.set file in the User Files folder, try deleting it.

Girish
Tried running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode?
Heihachi_73
The last time GTA:SA sh*t itself on my system it was because a program decided to 'upgrade' my DirectX 9.0c to that of 2002 (the default version which comes with XP). After reinstalling DirectX and updating 9.0c to the latest again (as of May 2008), SA worked fine once again without even needing to delete the set file.
