Okay it seems a bit easier to navigate than the previous version. However I still think it looks a hell of a mess, but then I like things orderly and neat. Having said that people may want to get over there as soon as they can and register their social club nickname before it gets taken. The main thing I really like and actually consider an improvement is the fact that it's no longer floating in an off centered frame/div/whatever. I never understood why they would hire a retard to design their page. The odd thing was that everything on the page should have fit without showing a horizontal scroll bar, the the superfluous frame/div/whatever made it do so for no good reason, so glad that's done. Though it will be nice if they ever get it to work properly, or correctly update stats and such. (edit) Anyone having problems with it might try logging out and back in again. For some reason when I first tried it my name was available so I took it, then trying to view any of the stats to see if they've finally updated (which they still haven't) popped up that "relinking" dialog, so I relinked. From that point on any attempt to view any page in the "profile" section brought me back to the "choose a nickname" screen, where it said the name I'd already chosen was unavailable, and any attempt to choose any other nickname just brought me to the same page. Yeah I know I have Rockstar but I want it linked to Games For Windows Live. I don't think I will be in any hurry to set up yet another profile just so I can link it to GFWL. Avean Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 Yeah it really annoys the hell outta me. You cant use nicknames that you have used in your PSN or Xbox ID. Like mine is Avean, my only nickname anywhere. So i had to create a new nickname for the Rockstar Nickname even though my PSN account is linked to socialclub. So extremely annoying i cant even explain it. And they expect regular people to all this ? I am a webdeveloper and even i find this troublesome and frustrating. Problem is, I know that I am definetly not over 18. I also know that Microsoft stops the playing of 18+ if your birthdate isn't correct. Does the GFWL account link up to Xbox Live (I haven't got the Xbox yet, but I will have one soon and don't want an account unable to play 18+ games). Anyway of getting around this?
