If its free for me then is there some sort of price limit? How are people so f*cking stupid? It is Secret Santa!! This is how it works. You will be GIVING a gift to someone. In return someone else will GIVE a gift to you. This works by collecting a group of people who are willing to buy a gift for someone else in return for a gift of their own. You take the names of the people from that group. Mix them up and randomly pick names for each person. The only real rule is you can't pick yourself so if your name is chosen for you, then your name is put back into the mix-up and another name is picked for you to give to. Whatever name is chosen for you is the person you are buying the gift for. In turn, there will be someone else in the group who has chosen your name and will thus be giving you a gift. Usually the organizer will work out a set dollar range or limit in which guests are expected to try to buy a gift for around that amount (meaning no jackass giving a bag of penny's while he receives an xbox game or something). All gifts given will end up being around the same range of worth unless the individual giving the gift decides independently that he wants to go over the price limit (mind you, I did not say under).
