archey Posted November 24, 2008 Share Posted November 24, 2008 my comp overheated i [email protected][email protected] when i was running a virus scan, the first in about one year and it was almost done when my comp overheated from being on for 36 hours straight.. I am soo mad right now it scanned about 56k items and found 4 viruses i was desperate to get rid of-- but the stupid machine had to crash on me!!!!!! i started the scan again few minutes ago, and picked where i wanted it to scan, because it scanned alot of places that had no viruses that i know, so hopefully i catch those 4 idiots on remove them. Formatted it about a year back as a form of spring cleaning but apart from that it's all gravy. Most my virus scans ever found has been a couple of tracking cookies which is nothing to worry about.
