JDumas Posted November 24, 2008 Share Posted November 24, 2008 I'm trying to infiltrate the restricted base close to the airstrip using the hunter which I can do as long as I take out the 2 SAMS, but my problem is..., Where in gods name are the Rhinos that are supposed to be there? I've searched an searched an all I can find are towers an a military transpo truck. Am I overlooking something here? JDumas Posted November 24, 2008 Author Share Posted November 24, 2008 Update: I successfully obtained the rhino I just wasn't looking hard enough , now here's a big puzzler I can't figure out. I've done all 12 vigilante missions using the rhino (w/o cheats) an according to my stats it counted, however, it appears my armor never increased. Meaning the bar length is still at what appears to be 100%. I thought maybe I needed to buy or find extra armor which I did, but still nothing. There are 2 restricted areas, both near an airstrip and with at least 2 SAM's. If you mean the Restricted Area in Easter Basin in SF...... There is no such thing as Rhino there. If you mean the Restricted Area that is Area 69...... There is a Rhino there, 2 actually. They are in garages near the 2 Hydras that also spawn there. The garages are open so there is nothing that can stop you from seeing them, besides from being in the sky. If you said that you go there in a Hunter, then dont. You probably are going to fast, so the game doesnt have enough time to load/spawn the Rhinos, or you cant see them because you are in the sky and the Rhinos are spawned in a garage. Try doing the 'Not Wanted' cheat and use the jetpack to fly over the fence. Be carefull, the SAM will attack you if you are in a Jetpack. Then check the garages and they should be there. EDIT: OOPS! LOOKS LIKE YOU BEAT ME TO IT! About the vigilante, i dont think the armor bar increases, it just takes more shots for you to lose the armor. EDIT: UGHH.. You also beat me to it !!GC!! Anyway, the armour bar doesn't increase in length like the health bar does. The time it takes, and the amount of bullets you can recieve before it goes down has increased.
