Girish
I'm not sure if a laptop will be able to handle GTA IV, although it might be possible to run it at the lowest possible settings. I'm not going to bet on it though. If you have to buy a laptop, then the only option you have is to just buy it and then test for yourself whether the game runs on it or not. It's a little difficult to tell at this point of time.
hypohead
Ah, but what would be the best to run it do you think?
jelly
The Toshiba has ATI integrated graphics. Not great, but certainly more useful than the Intel integrated graphics in the Acer below. If you want a laptop that can play games, you should look for one with a dedicated graphics chip in it rather than integrated chipset graphics because other than watching videos and speeding up Vista Aero desktop effects they're fairly useless. jelly
The 3100 is not a dedicated card, the guy in the shop is probably a buffoon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of...3xxx_IGP_series For games the Toshiba is going to be 'best' but that definition would be stretched here.. It's like asking which would be best to race around the Nurburgring, the Ford Ka or the VW Lupo. The answer is neither of them.
McDodge34
Don't even think of a laptop to play GTA4, or at least grab one with a Nvidia 9600M inside, not a 9500 or lower number, you can have one with 8800M that could do it but below theses numbers don't even think of being able to see more than the first video of the game. [CTD]LaBan
Best thing you can do is to wait until the game is released and we'll see the performance of it.
