Governments and laws are not going to save you from being mugged. People make the free choice to commit heinous acts no matter how strict the law is. Harsh punishments and strict legislations don't stop crime, they just create smarter criminals. Crime is a reality so long as there is Law, the two will always coexist because a line has been drawn in the sand and the beach is only so f*cking big.

 

I think it's pretty funny that you think getting your phone stolen warrants Sharia law, only on the internet could something so incomprehensibly stupid be said without real social repercussions. Daily Mail or not, OH NO, you can't deny that the streets of Britain are pretty messed up at the moment. I live in Nottingham, and at times I'm nervous about nipping to the corner shop after dark; there've been muggings and random attacks now and then in my area, and it mostly seems to be groups of young Asian kids. Funny thing is, most of them still live with their mothers, which I gather is fairly common in a lot of Asian communities, and they choose to hang around on the streets at night rather than go inside and speak to their parents. I've found that speaking to the local mosque leaders is the best way to deal with any problems they may cause; few things seem to hold more sway than the heads of their families and religious groups combined, the police included.

I never found that cops listened to my complaints, caving in a crackhead's teeth is satisfactory enough for them and they wouldn't want to ruffle their crew cuts in pondering where the true issue lies. To quote the departed "most cops sign up just to throw a n***er through a plate glass window".

 

In my experience the best thing is to talk to neighbours, form a committee and get the ear of local politicians (local religious leaders are good too). Any politician will "gleefully" rise to the occasion of pleasing their constituency and if they don't, well, it's a good thing you got organized cause it's a lot easier to take their precious votes away.

 

If that doesn't work, you probably live in a failed democracy so you should just get the f*ck out of dodge anyways.

 

P.S. I'm not doubting that the UK has got some hard ass f*cks. My best friend through most of highschool was a gentleman who happened to be from the UK and had the misfortune of being black. He had say, I don't know, FIFTEEN knife scars on his body, and he'd laugh while telling the stories behind each one. This kid made thugs from South Central and Jamaica Bay look like twinkies.

 

So, in summation, maybe you should all get the f*ck out of dodge. It's quite nice here in Canada, we're too cold most of the time to have the energy to stab each other.

I wouldn't be too hard on the police. There are corrupt motherf*ckers in every force, but that's not to say all police are worthy of mistrust and lack of faith. Particularly in mutli-racial areas like the one I live in, the balance is very delicate, and I feel the police are more diplomatic than they're given credit for.

If you live in a community where you can have an open dialog for the police, by all means go for it (and make sure to be thankful for it as well).

 

Unfortunately where I live, talking to the police usually rewards you with a lead pipe upside the head. But I chose to live in the inner city, so I deal with it.

 

Now I'll admit that I probably slandered cops a little harder than I should have. There are lots of great cops out there who truly are passionate about protecting and maintaining beautiful communities.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's easy enough to do given the amount they singularly fail to achieve as a whole; sometimes it seems like everyone in the country can easily tell you what the police should be doing, yet they never implement any of it. There needs to be more communication between police and public for this to take effect, I feel. That's the only way people like Royal Criminal can feel like justice can be done when they're victims of crimes like that. I understand his reaction and desire for revenge, but hard as it is to be subjective at times like that, it needs to be done.

Anyway, last Tuesday I got mugged, in total I lost about £200 worth of stuff. They just caught one of them and I just gave a 3 hour long statement. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

I wouldn't think twice about assasinating whoever brought that into law, I'm sure the irony would help my case. Capital punishment is criminal within itself, I see and understand the reasoning for it but at the end of the day I just couldn't agree with it (although there are times I probably could).

During the summer holidays i went to italy in sicily and when i was walking along the market on friday these little morrocan kids came along. There were like seven of them and they were about 12 years old. They knicked my wallet which only had 20 euros in it so it didn't matter.

I caught one of them by the way but i didn't beat the crap out if him because he looked so inocent and was only small. I regreted that when i let him go and then he spat in my face and ran. he was a quick little bugger too!

I have lived in plenty of bad neighborhoods and all i can say is if you walk around with a really pissed off 100 mile stare on your face nobody will really f*ck with you. also dont carry lots of money or make yourself look like a target. The only time someone tried to jack me for my sh*t i had nothing on me at all. after that i just walked around looking pissed off like i was gonna deck the next person who talked to me. seems to work so far, maybe the muggers are scared im going to mug them!

i almost had a chance at being Mugged By some Pikey Before,coming home from buying a new PC mouse from argos,a little ginger C*nt whipped it out of my Pocket,and just as he was about to run i dived for him,because it was just him and he had no knife ,so when i was done with him dragged him to the Gaurd walking around him took my Mouse back and walked home.

 

If i Encountered a large Group usually hanging around my Area id Push and Run Straight Home, But since most Of them Know me id say im alright,but going into Ballyfermot,God dont get me started on that Place ,the amount of Drugs,Guns and violence Going On in there the Only time id be going through there is In a Car.

 

My advice :if theres a group either Give Them what They want or Run simple.

 

If theres one with no Knife: Give him a smack and bring him to the police if they are near.

Firearms, Blades(including box cutters ), blunt instruments, rope, poison, glass, water, sissors, rulers, tootbrushes, vehicles, bricks of various sizes and many other things are not what kill people........

 

Ignorance in regards to strategy, logistics, self defense and good offensive/defensive basics are essential survival skills and the lack of them make victims easier prey to other people, regardless of whether the person is a criminal, soldier or aristicrat that wants rid of someone else for what ever reason they do.

 

"If you criminalize guns then only criminals will have them," is accurate only as far as the civilian is concerned. If you have no means of defense versus tyranny then you have little choice but to either accept it or go underground with it.

 

I believe it better to have more choices for casting off oppression, myself.

 

Many neutral countries have had great success with this and keep their crime quite low. If everyone has access to a firearm then the chances of someone getting out of hand with a firearm actually go down.

 

It is the scarcity of a weapon that lets it be used as a symbol of threat on the majority of people, otherwise it remains much more mundane and has less power to manipulate others when numbers bring safety much easier when the trouble maker has no edge.

 

The same can be said of any kind of edge...including any type of martial training and experience.

 

Scarcity is often the edge that makes a resource (including human resource) maintain power over others and over the terrain; be it earthy, human or otherwise.
