Vertical Bird
I am getting a discontinued product, it's a Sony Bravia 1080p. This is the TV [ http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores...552921665116632 ] I love the glass frame. The question is, would GTA IV (PS3 VERSION) look too streched/tall or pixelated on 1080p? Since it's 1152x640 I am scared it might look bad on 1920x1080.

illformed
I play in 1080p on a 24" Dell 2408WFP widescreen LCD, sitting about 2 feet (60 cm) away, and GTA looks fine. Sure, the image obviously has to be rescaled to fit the display, so it's not 100% sharp or crystal clear, but that's life I guess, it still looks good and is totally playable. Checkout this HD resolution / viewing distance chart: http://www.carltonbale.com/2006/11/1080p-does-matter/ I'm assuming you will have the TV in your living room or bedroom or whatever, and you will be sitting at least a few feet away from it while you play, so from that distance it's going to look great anyway. the nameless
Mate, as long as you are running it through an hdmi cable as opposed to a scart cable, then it will look amazing.
