Thnx rod..., I hate usin cheat codes, but I've been tryin to complete the vigilante mission before moving on to Las Venturas an everytime I use the bike I get to level 9 an by dat time I've got a .... load of cops after me even blocking my route half the time. would you by any chance know if the glitch works on the 2nd edition pc version as well? I tried doin it a while ago but went to a burger shot an parked on the sidewalk, went in..., let the clock tick down to 20 sec left to get back on the bike, but it didn't work. I don't know if it is possible but I think cheating do not corrupt the save game, but it set a flag to 1, so you can't complete the game at 100%. That's not true. If you activate those cheats, they cannot be deactivated and will cause glitches in your save game, such glitches will prevent you from passing some missions. You can fix that by using hmvartak's online glitch repair tool Savegame corruption is an altogether different thing from not being able to reach 100%. A corrupted savegame is unusable. The above mentioned cheats only introduce a few glitches in your game that cause you to not be able to pass a few missions. But, as you said, the save can be fixed by hmvartak's repair tool. I have 'Overcast' on and it has been on for the past 11 weeks. I put it on so that i could drift without having to worry about rain, sun, quick changes in weather. Now, it just doesn't go off. If you press it in again, its says 'Cheat Activated' again, and again, and again. I tried putting in other weather cheats to change it, but all others are worse. You'd think saving would get rid of it. Mistaken. Now, the wind is pushing me around all over the place while flying my Hydra. It makes it exceptionally harder to fly under bridges, upside-down. In my cheat vault, i have one for Sunny sky but that doesn't do any good 'cos then i'll have constant sunny skies, without any weather changes. That just isn't realistic. Weather may not be a big deal for you if you are juust driving around, or running around slaughtering people, but when you are flying (and i fly a hell of a lot) it is a big problem. Flying on your side though gaps in the canyons just isn't possible because the wind will shake you all over the place and slam you into the sides. skills Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 that's very strange because i use the weather cheats and never had this problem. may be tha save is corrupt. but then i never use the rain,sand storm, fog or cloudy weather cheats and saved while those codes was on.
