Johntwazere
hey guys i would appreciate your support in this, here's the info i have typed up: There is a vote going on at present to find the TOP 100 ROCK BANDS OF ALL TIME!You too can vote in this poll, results will be announced on the official website of the countdown (http://rockcountdown.synthasite.com) at a yet to be decided date. Here is how you can vote: E-mail [email protected] with your top ten bands of all time (any order). This is the safest and most secure way to vote. Private mail monsieur-folie on: bebo rockers.myfastforum.org thecreativeforums.myfastforum.org This poll cannot go ahead without your vote so be sure to vote if you can! FAQ's Must I put exactly ten bands? no, ten is the maximum number of bands you can put, but if you only want to put 5, only put 5. I don't have an e-mail account, can i vote? yes, you can private mail me (monsieur-folie) at any of the aformentioned sites, or if your reading this elsewhere, and it is by monsieur-folie (or possibly johntwazere) then that is I. Where and when are the results? Where: everywhere! but they will be officially announced at http://rockcountdown.synthasite.com When: it hasn't been decided yet, it will depend on how fast the votes are coming in. If they are flying in we will set an early deadline, if they are slow coming in we'll leave it late.
Slamman
I think I looked at this some time ago, if I neglected to offer the top bands that don't even require a list 100 artists long, well, that list is; Led Zeppelin - Black Sabbath - UFO - Def Leppard - Queen - Eagles - Beatles - Rolling Stones - Van Halen - Bad Company - Lynyrd Skynyrd - Allman Brothers - Dokken - Pink Floyd - Aerosmith - Ted Nugent - Iron Maiden - Scorpions - Foreigner - AC/DC - Mercyful Fate - Metallica - Anthrax - Slayer - Megadeth - Montrose - Ratt - Motley Crue - Grateful Dead - Jefferson Airplane/Starship - REO Speedwagon - John Mayall's Blues Breakers - The Yardbirds - The Doors - Jimi Hendrix Well, obviously a smattering of the artists I think were influential in a number of ways, and their own music endures for decades. Well, I neglect the blues and 50s artists who inspired these acts as well, but they really made the most important shifts in modern music I feel
