I believe that they are using the ingame advertising to advertise the vehicles that coming with the DLC.... Just a crazy thought that could make sense? what billboards? But I'm pretty sure there's not going to be any new air transportation. we want a dodo (that flys rockstar with no clipped wings) and at least maybe a small jet with the ability to take 16 players for some mass skydiving action, so parachites will be required. I understand that planes dont really fit, but why the hell did they put planes in that just circle Liberty city in the firsy place, planes would be a nice edition to the game. orgcon 0 Posted November 24, 2008 There wont be any flyable planes added because of the whole 9/11 bollocks ( I mean bollocks in the nicest way), that was the inevitable day that ruined gaming, and also stopped Jackie Chan from making a new film, but thats another story! Anyway I don't see why they shouldn't put parachutes in to the game though, and the thing with the Maibatsu, I don't believe it will be added because that car was advertised in GTA III and VC on billboards and radio so I dout they'll release it now when they've had plenty of oppertunity to release it in SA and LC stories, I just hope someone will be able to create these things for a mod in the PC version, they will be wuved foreva Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I don't really get what's so fun about parachutes? I agree that it was kinda fun the first couple of times in SA, but (like other things in SA) it got boring really fast. It would be much better gliding down with the physics of GTA IV as well instead of San Andreas. It would be cool to see the physics of Niko dropping with a parachute compared to CJ I guess... BloodOcean 0 Posted November 26, 2008 I can't count the number of times I've wished I had a parchute in Free roam, so I wouldn't have to jump to my doom because I'm stuck on top of a building. My feeling is if you're going to include helicopters, a parachute would just be a given, it doesn't make much sense to have one without the other. They are pretty much on every street of Liberty City - Some of them have advertisements for cars that aren't in the game. I'm getting a funny feeling that we're going to see all of the "fun" stuff in DLC #2 plus another story add-on. There was a statement made by a Rockstar exec. (or one of the Housers) a few weeks back that basically said "you won't be seeing the tank in this DLC...yet". This is what leads me to believe that all of the stuff we hoped and dreamed for will make it into DLC #2. That has still not been proven, it's just rumours (or more likely bullsh*t since there isn't any relaiable source whatsoever...in fact, there doesn't seem to be any source at all). That info was posted here http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=384003 and if you check his so called source, it doesn't mention anything about it. In fact, after googling around a little i couldn't find anything about this info except some posts on other forums. And they all look exactly the same, with the same "source" and everything. nkjellman 1,665 Posted December 29, 2008 I could think 9/11 or LC being to small is a reason to not have airplanes. VCS had planes,VC had a sea plane, and Sants Row 2 had planes. But what about a sea plane in GTA4 DLC. In a DLC for gta 4 I wold like to see the tank, chansaw, flamthrower, jet ski, skimmer sea plane, bicycals, parashoots, and the hunter atack helicopter.
