ohhhh!!!!!!! actually i read the article and it say that johnnies part will explain somethings that happened on nikos story and also that niko has met the lost gang and where also mentioned in the radio (in game), WHAT how did we not put it all together, R* put clues in the game and i never noticed this!!!!!

One thing people are forgetting, depending on what ending you may have picked, Rockstar COULD have separate bits so it makes sense, or have it before IV's ending.

 

I think Niko should be nearly invisible and that its going inside IV's story, so you hear from other people/on the radio/wherever about the things he's done as you progress.

I like the idea that when Niko goes to San Andreas...he gets into trouble with the local gangs, beats them up, but then the "real" gangs step in and are actually a problem for Niko, excusing his absense.

What's the problem with the choice of who the player kills? Johnny's story probably ends before that and starts before Niko's arrival.

I'm not sure how it is going to work out.

 

But I can't wait for the Museum Piece mission. They just simply take the same cutscene from GTA IV and put it on that mission. Sort of thing like the mission with Niko, gotta fight your way out, grab a car/bike and escape the crew attacking you.

I'd like to see Niko coping with the loss of either Roman or Kate. Even if it has little to do with Johnny's story.

I fail to understand why one must think up some reason for Niko not being in the picture (aka the main character of the DLC). I might sound mean, but why the f*ck are you all concentrating on this point. Liberty City is home to millions of people, Niko really is a nobody in the grand scheme of things.

 

Anyways, it was already pointed out but the most logically method to entering into the DLC would be by the phone and any subsequent loads would probably load you into the world as the new character if you save as him.

I don't really think you need to send Niko to another city. I'd probably handle it something like this:

 

The first time you start the game after downloading DLC you automatically begin a new game as Johnny. His story can be played out completely never seeing Niko (except in some cutscenes maybe) and finished as a single story.

Like Niko's story it would be told through missions which begin by the character walking into a marker. Like Niko, Johnny can free roam out side missions. The DLC would create new clothes in clothes shops or open new ones. Both Johnny and Niko can now buy all clothes from all unlocked shops.

 

When not on a mission you can change whether you play as Niko or Johnny in the Phone menu. The game will pick-up from that characters nearest safe house at the point you last played as them.

 

While playing as Johnny, Niko's safehouses are locked and he cannot enter them. The same goes for Johnny's homes when playing as Niko.

this is exactly what i was thinking. You should start as johny when you download dlc and have the option to change to niko via the phone. All features unlocked by dlc should also be available to niko but the story should take place after niko's without him leavin so he can be playable.

it would also be cool if things that happen in johnys story affected niko's, like buldings being blown up, roads being blocked, people being killed (could be mentioned on the radio when you go back to niko), etc.

Also, i think some characters should be included in both stories, but not the main ones like niko or roman or kate. maybe people like packi for a few missions. It's meant to be a huge city, would be dumb if it was like a sopa where all the characters only know each other and no1 else!

i just hope there are a lot more clothing options, weapons, vehicles, enterable buildings and most of all....Parachutes and silencers!

I have a idea about the mission where the diamonds are robbed.

 

In the mission where the ice gets robbed, instead of doing the exchange, the main idea all along was that when that guy shows up with the ak and starts shooting, Johnny is to grab the money and then take it back to the guy that was shooting, and all along, Johnny was secretly working with him.. I think it makes sense. Too bad I don't have a 360, I might buy one just for the downloadable content. Lol, watch me buy it then 3 months later they will make it downloadable for the PS3, Rockstar has done that before... (LCS, VCS.)
