How do I save my vehichle?

I want to know how to save my vehichle like in GTA SA, VC, and 3? I can't figure it out on four.

You can't. If you've ever been to NYC. You would know that Parking is just horrible and most car owners have to resort to parking them in big underground or above ground garages. To save your vehicle, park it within the parking space surrounded by the yellow line right outside your apartment. It should stay there as long as you park it within the Yellow lined box.

You only save in yellow line which said "Resident Parking Only" that means you own the safehouse which allows you to park the vehicle. But be careful when you parked your vehicle, someone will steal your vehicle and you won't get it back, especially the police.

Your First safe house has two spots outlined in yellow. So two vehicles can be 'saved'. I have read elsewhere that If done correctly three vehicles can be saved. By parking one exactly in the center and two others with half of each in the remaining spaces. (I haven't tried that, yet.)

I think as more parts of the game open up, you loose the ability to squeeze more than two cars into a slot. I used to pile up motorbikes and such like on the space outside the Hove Beach address, but by the time I got to Alderney it's just the last two I drove.

 

You can also use Residents Parking bays at addresses that aren't yours yet (or will never be yours)

I rly need ppl to mod in a warehouse in the docks section that can be bought. There's enough of em already there, that aren't being used. Imagine being able to buy such a warehouse where u can store about 20 cars in. Would be so nice. And a way to spend your money of course. ^^

If you put more cars or motorbike and tries to completely fill up the gap of yellow lines, the vehicle will disappear. The yellow lines only accepts two vehicles.

 

You can put vehicle inside Jimmy Pegorino's garage but the vehicles will not be saved, however.

Hold the button to get out, don't just tap it. You have to shut the engine off or it wont save.

I wish someone would make the space bigger to park more than 2.....

And you would think that it would be the other way around.

I think you could usually fit loads into one parking space as long as the car is within the space.

Theres a slight glitch to the yellow resident only parking. If you put 2 vehicles there and save them, then drive to that safehouse in another vehicle, you have to make sure you dont park this 3rd vehicle anywhere close to the safehouse or it replaces one of your saved cars.

I had a spot with a Turismo and a NRG900 then showed up to my safehouse in a Cavalcade. I parked right behind the NRG but definitely outside the yellow lines. I ran inside to escape the police and slept to save the game. Went back outside and now i had a Turismo and the Cavalcade in the yellow parking spot, the NRG900 was gone.

I think by the fact garages are rare in NYC, the solution was quite "authentic".

 

BUT, I really miss the good old garages of the GTA3 series. Not to mention the ability to buy some companies and mansions..
