Whenever I'm attempting a drive-by against someone (who is usually rank 6 or above) I always get toasted instantly. Yet, when I try to kill someone trying to do a drive by on me I could unload 60 rounds from the M-4 and hardly dent their health. I've just about givin up on shooting moving vehicles unless I have them trapped and I have a shotgun or rocket launcher. It seems to be the only reliable weapons against them. I can be in a helicopter 30 ft above the enemy, thinking they cant even get an auto aim lock on me (the only time I can ever lock onto someone in a helicopter is if i can at least see them thru the cockpit window, right?)...but sure enough they somehow take me out as I'm flying by them. What the hell?!? It's very frustrating. And it seems only the high ranking people can pull this off. Lots of times I can do cirlces in a vehicle around a rank 1,2, or 3 and they, like me, can't hit me worth a sh*t. But its like the upper rank guys have some secret button they push or some sh*t and I'm dead. Theres got to be some sort of trick or secret I'm missing out on. Please do tell...appreciate it! SuperJude™ Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 If you are playing Auto Aim games, cars are not the best idea. It isn't good shooting, it's just a target that gets locked onto automatically. There is little or no skill killing somebody in a car with AA on which is why you don't see a whole lot of car driving in AA games unless it's the n00bs. If you mean AA disallow, my secret is having my aim sensitivity set to "high" and from there, just getting used to exactly how high off the ground somebodies head sits in the car and keeping a steady track, at that height, while shooting just slightly ahead of where they are. But yeah, just another reason AA is kind of lame, it renders a large portion of the game unusable. You can be the best driver in the world and get offed by some n00b standing there with an AK tapping on their fire button while holding down auto aim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hit AA and aim a bit infront of where their going and shoot, remember to only do short bursts. One thing that is funny to do is kill a team while in a car in an AA game on Spray and Spin. Or to be a right bam, the Linerunner, Ambulance and that long lorry thing, no-one can shoot you from behind, needs to be infront. So you can rally about not giving a sh*t, knockin people down etc. TDM at the docks is the best place to do this, just keep making laps round the circular bit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ihasamelon Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 Also if you may have noticed already when a car passes you at good speed the aiming reticule will "lag" behind a little simulating the bullet travel.
