Do you just want to beat the game, or get 100% ?

Either way, a mission tree like the one at WikiGTA will help

mercie_blink.gif I always thought all of Toni's missions after "Salvatore called a meeting" were optional.

Are you sure you must complete "Grand Theft Aero" to unlock D-Ice's missions?

Nope, while Joey and Luigi's last couple of missions are optional and don't count towards the storyline progress, Toni's one's are important considering they have bigger impact on the whole scene.

The missions that don't need to be completed for the storyline but still count towards 100%.

Luigi's last two, Joey's last two, Diablos' phone missions, Kenji's missions, Yardies phone missions, Asuka's "Two Faced Tanner", Donald Love's last three missions and D-Ice's strand. Everything else is a must. And I'm unsure about Marty Chonks and the dog food missions.

I think that Marty's missions are totally optional if you just want to finish the game. You need to do every one of the main missions, and a few side-missions to get 100%

I didn't create that Mission Tree at WikiGTA but I've found their mission trees are usually pretty accurate

Here's your list

Luigi's last two missions. After you meet Joey, you don't need to complete any more of Luigi's missions.

Joey's final two missions. Once you meet, Toni, you don't need him any more.

Toni's missions are all required along with Salvatore's.

Asuka's final condo mission "Two Faced Tanner" is not required.

None of Kenji's missions are required.

For Ray, once you meet Donald Love, you don't need him anymore, but I do recommend completing his final mission once you have access to Shoreside Vale as you will get nice weapons and a bulletproof Patriot.

Donald Love's last two missions after you meet Asuka at the construction site are not required.

Asuka's construction site missions are required and The Exchange is as well obviously.

Also, all of the missions where you pick up a phone are not required. They are side missions. This also includes missions where you have to destroy gang vehicles aka Mafia Massacre and missions where you must cross checkpoints like Patriot Playground.

I hope this helps but I don't understand why you would only do the minimum requirements. If you play GTA 3, that means that you enjoy playing it, so why not play all of the missions and get as much enjoyment as possible? smile.gif

I'm replaying GTA 3 at the moment.

You're probably right about Toni's missions, but I have just checked and D-Ice's missions appear after "A drop in the ocean", not "Grand theft aero". I have the red phone at the marker but I haven't started "Grand theft aero" yet.

I'm learning lots of things this second time, in fact. I thought the Cartel carried AKs from the beginning of the game, but they only carry pistols and Uzis at the moment. I guess they'll use AKs after "Grand theft aero". (EDIT: It's after "The Exchange")

I have also discovered that there is a Yakuza Stinger parked at the AM Co parking lot, something I had never heard before. mercie_blink.gif
