Hart
I've seen you in the CoD4 thread, why not get CoD5? That'll last you quite a long time, especially with the multiplayer.

Kewfmwpj
If you have self control go for it. I originally subscribed in Dec '05, last time I played was July '07. Funny thing is that I'm re-installing as we speak, (75%). Will be renewing my sub on Friday and immediately creating a deathknight. Moncai Waits for people to laugh

Kewfmwpj
I'm actually really looking forward to getting back. Towards the end of my last stint with WoW I was playing for levels, not fun. That is the worst thing to do. I arrived in Outlands and saw the jump in xp needed to go from 60 to 61 and thought F this. (Now been lowered by 30%) I didn't look at the quest info or anything. I didn't know why I was doing whatever thats something you should avoid doing. I recommend you getting the QuestHelper addon and turning of scrolling quest text as soon as you get the game. What servers are your friends on? And what levels?

The 16 age rating is just a recommended age and above that players should be to play the game, Eg 3 ect. Those are all pegi ratings and you don't need an adult to get those. In hate being addicted to lvl grinding I narrowly escaped maplestory. It does seem really fun though...I have also played runescape, gunbound and guild wars. I recently resubbed as well for WotLK, even though I haven't even bought it yet lol. I'm leveling a new Shaman. WoW is a good game and if you manage your time well enough. I don't play more than 2 hours a day and I still level fast. The leveling is the worst part. Keep in mind that if you aren't playing with friends or in a populated guild, then leveling can be boring. It can go by fast if you actually are communicating with people. You can also refer to Jame's leveling guide, which gives you a step-by-step directions for leveling from 1-80 the fastest way possible Horde - http://wow-pro.com/leveling_guides/james_h..._leveling_guide Alliance - http://wow-pro.com/leveling_guides/james_a..._leveling_guide

Moncai Waits for people to laugh you have to have a level 70 on whatever server you plan on making your DK payment: $15 a month, $30 if you but a 60 time card lvl grinding: sucks, esp since it;s 1-80 now, but addons make the grind less tedious. nasty players: no matter where you go in life, you'll have dick heads in your way. addiction: depends, i made my first account in march of 05, i was a 'hardcore' raider in 60 wow, 70 wow i was off and on, really depends if you get into the game. Rebel
You should get it if you can control yourself on how much you play it. I personally got kinda sucked into it when I first got the game. Although I found it boring leveling and not even knowing where the hell to go for those mission things so I quickly gave up after my free months trial. Jake
I got Wrath on launch day, it's sweet. I'm about to hit 76 and I've played a Death Knight through the starter area and he's ready to hit Outland. I won't be doing that for a while though. I'm gonna get my warrior to 80 and then my 70 mage to 80. Horde FTW. Death to Alliance!
TommyAngelo
I would be playing, I haven't got past 70 though as I was keylogged God I must have been dumb to click on that link...I had to do a PC recovery and I lost WoW..and to make things worse I lost all my gold plus gear on my 2 70s... I hopefully will be getting it all back though.

Heihachi_73
I think I had friends once. Then they got WoW, then Burning Crusade, and now Lich King and I see them maybe for an hour or two each day. The strange thing is that we all live in and share the same house. The government can put up as many anti-gambling campaigns and close as many social gaming venues (poker machines) they want but it won't do f*ck all about 24 hour MMORPG addiction. As a matter of fact, the last time I remember going out of the house with mates it was New Year's Eve, and once in about March, and it absolutely poured down and I had a cold for the next week or so. After all that, naturally I'd say not to get it as of 2008 - it would take forever to level up to 80 anyway (and it'd be boring if your friends helped level your character instead), and hundreds of dollars for nothing except... a video game character that will probably be rendered useless the day Blizzard gets bored with the four year old game and axes it. I also wouldn't waste my time with anything that forces you to constantly pay to play a game that you own. Blizzard doesn't care about addiction, health, friends or anything as long as they're turning over the $$$$$ every second of the day, that's why WoW still requires game cards before a person can actually play it legally according to them. You're only buying the physical game for display as such, once the free trial has run out, the game is useless. 10 BUY "World of Warcraft"20 PLAY game for nn days30 BUY game_card40 GOTO 20; I obviously can't code Save your money up for a crappy car that you can thrash around off-road - it's infinitely more fun than sitting in front of your computer getting pissed off about WoW lagging up or the server going offline, or 15 year olds still not knowing how to play it after 3 years of constant gaming.
