Mission Select

 

 

There is a special cheat that can be activated before the game starts that allows you to go to a screen which you can see above. I think forgot to remove it when San Andreas was released. The analog sticks do not work well with mission select, instead selects the previous mission, selects the next mission, selects the mission 5 missions after the current one and selects the mission 5 missions before the current one. For instance, the missions in mission select have weird names, which confuses people (for example, the "libertycity" mission refers to the Saint Mark's Bistro mission, "fall from andromada" refers to Stowaway, "rob palimino bank" refers to Small Town Bank, "truck3" refers to the third trucking mission etc.). The nameless missions are there because planned to add 175 missions, selecting the no name missions will freeze the game. Also, the San Andreas logo that has "San Andreas" replaced by "Los Santos" is because when the mission select menu was created, San Andreas was still in the early development stages and didn't decide on the final name.
