GTA_XP
Hi, Since I installed the new cleo library, my dream comes out. The new cam vehicle like VC. A little high from the car. I really do like to have that in SA. I have sended some missionmodders but no one could understand or ignored my question. Is my English really so bad nobody cant understand me? How can I import the VCCam in SCM? I copied the codes and tried to compile. But then I got a error with: "NONAME_2 declared blabla" Please could anybody help me out? I hate the original Cam. I only wanna add it in the SCM. I dont trust Cleo and I do like to start new game. Edited November 16, 2008 by GTA_XP

If you mean the simple install of cleo library would manipulate the vehicle cam, so ask Seeman, the author of cleo library on his support page for the reason: www.sannybuilder.com/forums/viewforum.php?id=9 2. Now you are talking about VC cam, the difference between Vc and SA cam is the chance to can rotate the cam view by mouse moving this can be changed in game menue>option>controler setup>mouse setting 3. the standard game cam is hardcoded, which codes did you copied into sa main ? Jabhacksoul
No your English is great, it is just the words I am having trouble with... Sorry that was mean of me, I don't even speak English well and it is my native language. But can you edit the MAIN.SCM with the Sanny Builder 3.0? I do not know what your issues are with CLEO mods but to install a CLEO mod to the main.scm is much easier than editing the entire MAIN.SCM and starting a new game. But since I like to live dangerous... I shall assist you! Ok, you start by decompiling the MAIN.SCM the scroll down to line # 1334 and look for these two lines: :MAIN_5787jump @MAIN_4054 Insert between them this code so they look like this: :MAIN_5787if and 00E1: player 0 pressed_key 11 Actor.Driving($PLAYER_ACTOR)then 067C: put_camera_on_actor $PLAYER_ACTOR with_offset 0.0 -6.0 2.0 rotation 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 2endif and 00E1: player 0 pressed_key 11 not Actor.Driving($PLAYER_ACTOR)then Camera.Restore_WithJumpCut Camera.SetBehindPlayerendjump @MAIN_4054 Compile and start a new game. When you enter any car hit Y and you will be LOCKED in behind the car. Exit the car hit Y and it will unlock the camera. But if you compile this as a CLEO script and swap out the DLLs you wouldn't need to start a new game. JAB B) Damn took too much time typing and Zaz beat me... Ooops! I forgot to mention that changing the -6.0 will increase or decrease the distance between the car and camera. The 2.0 will raise and lower the camera. And whatever you do... Don't press Y in cut scenes it will send you to BLACK HELL... Edited November 16, 2008 by Jabhacksoul
GTA_XP
No. Install the Cleo Librayy at here: http://cleo.sannybuilder.com/cleo3.exe An auto installer, and select the VCCam. Start the game and you wil see the differents. You will see the cam is a bit above from the car. Here a quote: // car camera angle is positioned a little higher, like in VC 0000: while true wait 250 if Player.Defined($PLAYER_CHAR) then if Actor.Driving($PLAYER_ACTOR) then 03C0: [email protected] = actor $PLAYER_ACTOR car 0441: [email protected] = car [email protected] model 09EF: set_behind_camera_autoposition_mode_for_car_model [email protected] distance 1.0 altitude_multiplier 1.0 angle_X 0.18 end end end Edited November 16, 2008 by GTA_XP

LG

LG If I read your post correctly, CLEO has nothing to do with Direct X. If he hasn't installed it correctly or not. His original question was how to do this without the CLEO. Or so I thought? No.Install the Cleo Librayy at here: http://cleo.sannybuilder.com/cleo3.exe An auto installer, and select the VCCam. Start the game and you wil see the differents. You will see the cam is a bit above from the car. I never used the auto installer. I just placed the dll's into my modded program folder. I was under the impression you wanted to mod the camera to lock it in behind the car. Sorry, JAB

spaceeinstein
My mod reached the limit of the file so you would have to delete some stuff in order to install the code.
