Yeah I just read about it on the Xbox 360 website a few mins ago cause I was on the couch and I saw the preveiw for the new Banjo game and decided to google Banjo Tooie see what ever happen to it. Man I'm going to donwload it once it's released on arcade, loved the game when I was little and can't wait to relive the whole experience. Also I don't have XBL but my friend does. Is it possible for him to downlaod the game from his XBL onto my HDD? If it is I'll give him Microsoft points to get ti for me

The thing im not sure about is if you have to be signed into live to be able to play the game on your machine at home? i suggest you trial it with an arcade game that is 400MS points now so that way if its not possible you wont be that dissapointed when banjo is released. Thinking about it now ive taken my 360 round my mates and still been able to boom boom rocket without an internet connection so you should be allright

So when it's released I'll pick up some microsfot points, go over to my friend's place, pop on my HDD, get a silver account up, download banjo tooie, and relive being a kid again. Sounds like a blast I would have XBL at my house but goddman phone company won't install high speed on my road

Im pretty sure that you only have to have a connection to xbox live if you recover your gamertag onto another xbox 360 then redownload the arcade game. Just to be on the safe side you could take your entire 360 down you mates house just incase it does lock the download to your mates 360 console. I'll bring the entire console to my friend's. I still have the box for it so I'll just pack it up in there. Shouldn't take to much to get XBL up on it then just download the game. Our priminister over here promised high speed to anyone who doesn't have a connection. If this is true, in 2009 I'll be able to get XBL!

Personally i dont think i would play 360 or any other game console without having online multiplayer anymore. Its sorta like the standard for me. Anyway looking foward to a bit of retro gaming. The thing i dont get is Goldeneye 64 was canned for a marketplace download because an agreement of how much Xbox would pay nintendo per download could not be reached. but Banjo they have managed to secure a deal. I was so looking foward to Goldeneye 64 with multiplayer over Xbox live, It would have been great.

This time I'll actually beat it. Every time I rented it when I was little I could never have enough time to beat it. I'd allways get to th place in the sky or something then I'd have to return it. My friends will find it funny that I'm going from SR2 and GTA IV, to a bear and bird trying to kill a witch
uzi 9mm
I never played Banjo Tooie, I did play the original one and I remember the hype too! ONM (or ONM can't remember) the UK N64 magazine was doing a competition and I thought I won cos my mate did a prank on me and I thought I one a copy, did I though? No. I had to buy it when it came out. Great game though. Way better than the 3D Donkey Kong, Rareware should have done the DK one first, they would have put more time into it. Other wicked N64 games were Zelda OoT, Mario 64, Goldeneye, the usuals obviously.
poopskin
Hecks yes. Too bad i can't finish it, our N64 is starting to go and i'm not buying the XBLA one (i don't have XBL, and i belive games should be played on their native console)

WelcomeToLibertyCity
Microsoft pisses me off by times delaying games. Hopefully this doesn't happen to Banjo Tooie when it's going to be released. Also I'm thinking of buying BK:N&B. It looks quite fun, and a change of genre might be good for a little
GTA3Freak-2001
Some people already got it here in Australia, those who pre-ordered Nuts and Bolts got the code to get BK off XBL. Atleast here in Australia that's what happened. The thing was EBGames weren't giving people the codes in store they were having you ring up EB Customer support and they'd give you the code. Guess what? they didn't ask for proof of pre-order of Nuts and Bolts so anyone could ring up and they'd give you the code for free! They soon stopped it of course but heaps of people managed to get the game for free and now instead of waiting for the official release!

Only to find it wasnt up, had a chat with him, saying he pre-ordered nuts and bolts. The official reason from Rare was they wanted to extend the exclusive play that the pre-order people are getting. I really dont understand companys "i know we will give the people who didnt pay play it and not release it to the people that are willing to pay MS points for it"? i just dont get it.
