Fallout 3 had just been released at the time of this list, so it has climbed since.... Call of Duty : World at War has been released now..... and Gears of War 2 is going to be top 8 when list comes out, so GTA IV is about to get thrown off the top 10 played games. OysterBarron Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 buggar that saints row is beating GTA, but then again GTA has been out for like 6 months. i bet SR2 aint there come 6 months time. Slamman Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 Lest one forget, this is a first foray of Rockstar and GTA into MP, can't we assume they did well without prior knowledge? Some of the players are well versed in the MP environment, but for Rockstar, it behoves them to not center too much one way or the other....dabble in it all and make the single player the key focus of quality. Slamman Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 Well single player falls off in popularity because people finish a game or a challenge gets too repetative. I can't seem to break from playing it myself, until I have to sell it to pay rent and heat bills. I may have to take a LONG break from GTA and Uncharted to sell my games system if things don't improve for me. I think the MP appears to be where those who are looking for added value with the game are finding it. Grand Theft Auto IV sucks monkey balls with hiv compaired to saints row 2. If I were you, I wouldn't bother my mind with English that uses words more complicated than "u" "fa**ot" "hiv" "balls" "SUXXX" and with proper apostrophes. CharmingCharlie Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 I am just wondering if GTA 4 will get a bit of a boost up in December when all us PC gamers get our mits on the game. As far as I know GFWL uses the exact same network as XBL so it may be it will record the same level of activity. At any rate it will be interesting to see if they record PC gamers on XBL.
