Slamman Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) I can't recall the original specs I backed up but on a USB NEC DVD RW drive, I noted there is an EXE file labelled nrestore.exe (IIRC), however, the MS Dos script terminates when in Windows ME. I tried it from the MS DOS prompt, and a boot from floppy, where it won't even show up. What to do? I have a 40GB drive already formatted which I was trying to access the restore disc from, which is on a Sony branded DVD-RW format, the drive on the PC is Samsung Combo, so it maybe un-compatible.... ideas? I gave up on this with my original platform, because I am thinking it's my book PC, the BK630E IIRC, it's an Amptron PCChips micro Pentium 3 board form factor, and I need a DVD burner I can access the EXE file on this, or perhaps I can move the EXE to a floppy and boot it from that?
