GTA 4 HDTV Screen Resolution Problem

Hey! Thanks for taking the time of reading my problem.

My T.V. can display 1080i settings. It is really clear and I love this settling. However, every time I play on this settling it cuts off part of the sides of the screen. So it does not display the entire image. My T.V. is a wide screen and its size is 30''. The x box will not let me set my T.V. with the horizon setting. Only 16:9 and "set by program" settings. If I can set it on horizon it will show the whole image. Any other settling will cut some of the image off. I want to play on wide screen. with the 1080i setting, and see the whole screen of the games. Anyone know how I can do this?

Could this be a solution? If I get an HDMI cable for the x box will the1080p settling let me have the "horizon setting" or show the whole screen in wide screen?

Dear x Sergio

Just leave the setting on your TV set to 4:3 and set your xbox HD settings to 1080i. I think 16:9 cuts off picture but 4:3 doesn't when you play xbox.

Edit: I don't know if your TV supports 4:3 though, mine supports both and 4:3 is the optimal setting. The xbox just does its thing and formats itself to fit the screen when I'm in 4:3.
