Actually i would go as far as to say that today is a day among days .From this day forward when the scourge of the non gamers and unimpressed parents alike decent onto me with tales of countless wasted sunny days and never achieveing anything with tangible results, I shall present to them the fruit of my labour, the 'jewel in my gaming crown' so to speak, so they may bask in all its glory. But i digress, What is the meaning of this? I hear you ask. Well i was shimmying my way along on ebay and i came across a couple of the aforementioned 'tokens of undisputed GTA genetic superiority' , and this got me thinking ........ There is only, at a guess , say 5 or 6 thousand of these 'holiest of holy GTA relics' in the world . If you add into the equation , what i like to call 'Muppets Law' ie. if you give out 10 special things to 10 people and then ask for it back in 50 years time.... 1 will have been pawned, 2 will have been lost into the abyss of time 1 will have been stolen and discarded as trash then there will only be say 2 thousand , if that , in around 50 years Sooooooo i ask you , What do you think the Key To Liberty City will be worth in 50 years ?? wachizmo83 Posted November 15, 2008 Author Share Posted November 15, 2008 sorry stink_fist but mine is absolutey ,with out a doubt , not for sale ! but heres a for your efforts ,,, now i agree, there will be more 'shiny pendants of GTA greatness ' as times go by, however these are the first ,and just as the first copies of superman comics sell for $50 000 US a piece and new ones go for $20 or $30 , i think that they could turn out to be more valuable than we all give them credit for . To add to that , these 'most badass of all things i have received in a felt box' (and correct me if i am wrong) are the first prizes of there kind. In all my gaming years i have never gotten anything for completing a game , other than personal satisfaction. I think it just goes to show how awesome R* are for their loyal fans, so Cheers R*. Again i go of topic Any way, whats your estimate on the value of the 'sacred callices of devotion' , and if you had one , or do have one , what would you expect to get for it in 50 years , if you sell it at all ??
