Now I have already updated with the trophies so no it is not that. Has anyone else got this update this morning? It is version 1.04. Possibly a fix for the multiplayer problems? PSN:FERRARI_3 Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 (edited) getin it now, i'll post back if i notice any differences. edit: been on it for a few hours and if you haven't got this update and aren't playing online, DON'T! it's increased loading times and made the game glitchy! ffs this is worse than the original version! although the graphics are looking a bit smoother. Graven Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 Update 1.04 * Fixed an issue where players were unable to enter or exit vehicles in GTA Race. * Fixed an issue where scripted vehicles were causing games to unexpectedly crash. * Improved reliability and frequency of PS3's online leaderboard updates. * Fixed a rare hang some players encountered when moving from a Race or GTA Race lobby into gameplay. * Fixed a hang that would occur when players were switching teams during the countdown in the lobby. * Fixed an issue where players were able to get ridiculously high scores from Cops 'n Crooks matches. * Changed GTA Race and Race so that the last player remaining always receives a reward of $250. * Fixed an issue where spectating players would prevent the game from finishing. * Fixed an issue where players were unable to spectate in Round 2 of Cops 'n Crooks games. * Changed countdown timer in lobby so that it no longer resets when new players join a game. * Changed the kick option so that kicked players are no longer brought back to single player. Glumok Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 The only differences I noticed are : - the initial loading of the game, with the differents screens with Lola, cops, ect. It is weird, because it takes more time to show the first screen (the music is already playing, but on a black screen), and it is long enough to show twice the same picture (like the loop is complete and it starts from the begining again). But finaly, the loading time is shorter than before... Just like if the loading screens were showns less time (usually the music is already finish when the loading is complete, wich is not anymore the case after the update). - Maybe the multiplayers is less horrible than before, but it is always problematic (freeze, kicked for no reason, ...). - That's... all (assume I didn't play a lot GTA IV solo and multi since the update). Off-topic : I hope R* will make a special multiplayers update... The solo is fine for me (never had big pop-ups issues, ect. Just the "ghost" of Kate, she calls me even after she was killed, but it is a funny bug after all !) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
