I am lvl 8 currently about $500,000 from lvl 9. I hope to find someone who is about the same lvl as I am so we can reach 10 together but whatever. Anyway my way of doing it. We both shoot until it tells us to get transport. Then ill get a van and get petrovic, 2nd player will jump in back we will drive to the choppers, i will fly us there (please dont ride shotgun thats reserved for petrovic cuz its faster). With this method we can do a run in about 2:30. So go ahead and add me if your interested and post here plz my psn is MidnightBlues Thanks! Secondly, why not just have one person grab the chopper while the other one shoots? Not for nothing but the couple times I played NOOSE, this method worked like a charm and if you have a capable pilot and a capable shooter, 2 people can do this in 2:30. Still, lame way to level up. Besides, not sure what kind of crappy shooter you are but if you were worth a crap, it only takes one shooter. Try, you know, maybe backing up a little bit, creating space between you and the cops. I know this probably never once occured to you but it works, if leveling up on the lamest, easiest piece of sh*t game in GTA 4 is your "thing". PSN:FERRARI_3 Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 what's the point in rank if you haven't earned it? i don't play seriously on gta4 and i stay at lvl 3. and this is where i like it. i get underestimated then win the game. i mean, in cod4 i planted+detonated the bomb in search and destroy in under a minute. i think i might hold the ps3 record (is there any way to find out?). and i don't care about rank, acheivements or anything else. i care about skill. the ability to do a 360 while taking out 3 cop cars, being able to hide in the enemy base throughout the match, just popping out to save the team. i think online gaming would be better without ranks, they give you a false sense of acheivement. the games can only figure out that johnny got the kill, not that he got it because you and ben were distracting him. not that you got the kill without him noticing you. i pride myself in these things, not a 9* rank for beating some sh*tty AI. and who says offline isn't good? offline COD4 is ace! Its not like I have been doing hangmans noose to get to the level I am currently at, i play gta every single day, mostly turf wars and death match. I dont know how you could say you hate playing with people like me when you have never played with me before, you act like just because I want to do this I suck or something. Also I dont play with auto aim unless its co op...to say the least, money is slow this way. And yes 3 mil to go is a lot of cash, i know it wont be easy but whatever. anyway thanks for your help then superjude, I am sorry I pissed you off or whatever I dont want to be hostile anymore. It seems cheesy..repetitive, easy and boring to lvl up this way..I know that but u gotta understand that I am really desperate for this trophy, its one of the last I need to get platinum...I know that is lame too...someone playing gta JUST for the trophies, im sorry but this to me seems like the shortest path to my goal! now that aside I had a chuckle about your text under your avatar! haha you and me both man! I bet i can knock out another 300,000 tomorrow, then i will only be able to play gta a few hours during the week because of class. so id say its gonna take me about 3 or so weeks to get it.
