sammyman88 Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 yeah you people who like griefing are the same assholes who come into my game thinking they are cute by blowing up my helicopter or doing something equally as ignorant. the part that gets me is you f*ckers act like legitimate people who want to play the game for the first half of the game, just waiting for your opportune time. You pray on the weak. f*ck over the players that could use your help the most, and make their expirience full of annoyances, thats all it does by the way, annoy. I garuntee if you tried to grief my game you would regret it, and you wouldnt have any fun. Most griefers wont stick around to let me kill them more than once, which is why I like deathmatch, the griefer's worst nightmare is a deathmatch. Nothing for you to grief here! HAHA .... Nah, I know it for what it is, I set a goal and reached it and managed to get pretty damned good at the rocket launcher as well, though I still fail to comprehend how I can randomly hit people from halfway across the airport with luck shots and yet shoot 2 feet in front of somebody and they take no damage. RPG physics are bullsh*t I say! I had fun team killing with some of you this weekend, it was, quite literally, a blast sammy, 'mellon, rudy, good times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The RPG thing never seems to get old and I've discovered 3 types of players in these games. 1) Clueless. These are the people who seem to join any game and not bother to read the settings. They tend to not really know how to use their weapons. Oddly, these types will often stick around, be it because they don't know how to leave or are amused. They make for easy killing fodder but at least they stick around for the abuse. I chalk this up to most of them being n00bs. I've had quite a few who didn't even seem to realize there was team killing going on, didn't seem to do much more than blow themselves up. Easy group to rack up team kills on! 2) Hard Core. These are the serious gamers looking for a real, competitive game and they don't have a funny bone in their bodies. First, they get angry. Second, they get pissy and start trying to vote kick you. Third they might leave their character standing there, but can't pull it off as they get too annoyed and end up trying to vote you out again. Ultimately they will send you a hate message, generally because you were better at killing them than they were you. I can understand being annoyed at a griefer but there are better wys to deal with things in an online game, so this group is the most satisfactory to grief. Sure I get less team kills overall with this type of person but it's just that much better because they are such pissy humorless assholes. 3) Awesome. These are the people who "get it" and won't mind a stupid game of griefing. Often it gets quite comical when I go up against a teammate who is also into it and find ourselves in some intense battles. Also amusing are the people who've stuck around long enough to get me some team kills, quitting only towards the end of the game. That and people on other teams who will stick the whole game out even if all the killing is on the other team. I've had some really funny conversation with people during these types of games and I appreciate these players the most since they have a sense of humor and understand it's just a video game and not every single waking moment needs to be spent playing seriously. I generally play for real on my SJ account and then wind down with some dumbass griefing. Last weekend was a blast though, having real actual partners in crime as it were. There is the playing alone strategy, which a lot of people employ to rank up faster. There is also the Lone Wolf strategy whereby you totally bypass your team and do your own thing. When I get stuck with sh*tty n00bs, that's my approach. I don't bother finding or helping them and they will likely get me killed, I just do my own thing and every once in a while hit them with an RPG so they back off of me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SuperJude™ Posted November 24, 2008 Author Share Posted November 24, 2008 2 things gleaned from Saturday: 1) Team killing with a gun, especially a pistol, is great practice for headshots. 2) Being drunk and running into 3 players who game together with mics can mean getting your ass handed to you. I mean damn, they were all looking out for where I was on the map, calling out whether I was in a car or not. My firetruck ploy only worked for about 30 seconds till the third guy rocket launched me. I was happy it was a half hour game because being an inventive griefer, I did figure out some ways to absolutely grief my team (and this was in a random game with FF on that I didn't host). Sniper Rifle>>>>>all. Trite, to be certain, but...they just don't see it coming! Rocket Launcher (especially those looooooooong well placed shots) = great equalizer Headshots - after getting punked out by these three guys I must say my headshot were REALLY on point the second half of that game, both against my team and the idiots on the other team foolish enough to come get some. Car+grenades = one of the best, but least talked about aspects of the game. Zoom by at 100mph, avoid getting killed, drop a couple love grenades, laugh when you read the display dictating that you killed somebody. Flaming Car - shoot up the car, get it close to exploding, drive up on teammates. This actually worked 3 different times. High amusement. Oh yeah, none of these guys figured out I had a mic on till the end and...despite calling me a bunch of names they were laughing at it, which they should have been considering they kicked my f*cking ass for about 15 minutes straight! Oh well, I'll just have to be satisfied with being the greatest griefer in the history of TDM Thanks to MrJohn666 for joining in the rampages. f*cking hilarious yesterday, dude was on his team but he couldn't see the guy so I was trying every way possible to let him know where his teammate was so he could blow the guy up I have to wonder what the teammate thought, it HAD to look weird! I put some asshole on mute, told Deej where he was, RPG from him, mute off, guy was freaking out like mad wondering where it was coming from. Brilliant.
