Sebor Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 The thing I mostly enjoy about San Andreas is about how dangerous the streets are. I liked this as well in GTA 3 but found this was missing a bit in Vice City and GTA 4. When I mean dangerous peds I am not only talking about gangs but more about the other Peds. Please only list Peds outside of missions. One thing I noticed while playing San andreas is that many peds are armed. I was wondering which peds are armed and which weapons they carry: 1. Gangs: Varrios las aztecas, Vagos, Ballas, Grove Street, Triads, Da Nang Boys, Rieffa, Maffia (they seem to appear on the street sometimes). I am not going in to details with the gangs because there are many guides already concerning this. What I was wondering. I entered the “gangs every where” Cheat while being in the rural areas of los Santos. After I entered this all normal peds disappeared and gangs where everywhere in all different kind of vehicles. The only other ped I noticed several times was the longhaired Motorgang looking Ped that always drive around on motor bikes in the rural parts. Now as far as I know these guys are not part of a gang, but is it me or does the cheat recognizes these guys as gangsters? Also do they ever carry any weapons? 2. Police, LAPD, SWAT, Army, I think we all know what’s up with hem.. 3. Criminals: As far as I know there are 3 different criminal peds, the African-American dude with a blue shirt and shorts and the white dude with a pony tail that looks like a biker (cobra jacket). The last one is a Latin look dude with a green shirt. They are either unarmed or carry knives or 9mm handguns. 4. Drugs dealers: There is African-American dude with a black tank top, and the latino drugdealer wearing a white hoody. Both carry 9mm handguns 5. Hookers: There are several of female peds that are strapped. Now I am not sure if she is a hooker but it’s the African-American woman dressed in a short black skirt and red tank top that could lose some weight.. You can find her often in the hood but also I saw her in Las Venturas wearing a blue/turquoise shirt (and was strapped). An other one that is strapped is her skinny version with short hair. They are either unarmed or carry knives or 9mm Handguns I wasn’t able to test this yet but is the blond hooker (she definitely is a hooker) with pig tails that you can for example find around the docks of Los santos strapped? 6. Drivers. All driver peds can be potentially dangerous if you crash in to them. They will either try to kill you by running you over or get out to fight with there fists or are armed with baseball bats, shovels or golf sticks. 7. Bouncers: you can find them in most clubs and bars, they carry guns or hit pretty hard. 8. Bartenders: extremely dangerous, get in trouble in a bar and they will shoot at you with shotguns. 9. Security Casino guards: They all carry guns and shoot you if you cause trouble in the Casino. 10. Ammunation sales persons: they carry some heavy guns (anybody remember what guns they carry?) if your causing trouble there you better take cover. Now I got in trouble yesterday for thinking a ped that was after me was a normal ped wanting to fight me for hitting his car. After I evaded a couple of punches he pulled a gun and killed me. I had very few health left and had earned a nice amount of amo and cash, which sucked obviously. (he was the criminal with green shirt). Now if anyone knows of some other skins/peds that are dangerous/carry weapons please list them! One other thing I was wondering besides there being less gangster in Venturas and Fierro are there less normal strapped peds as well? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I dont ever remember seeing a bartender attack me with a shotgun. I i believe Ammu-nation dudes only have pistols. Also, there are a lot more criminal peds, than just three. There are more then 3 different kind of criminal peds? If I remember correctly bartenders have shotguns, or this could just have been Vice city. Ill test this to night. Yes, there are sh*tloads more than three. There are goddamn old ladies. If you are talking about the crims that you see police going after, i dont pay too much attention to them, but i'd say there are still more than three. Yes, in SA, Bartenders just stick their hands up. The only time someone from a form of food service somes at you with a shotgun is the, 'This Pizza Parlour is no pushover', dude from Ryder. I guess they could be qualified as a diferent kind of dangerous peds. Fugitive peds hehe. Since I just started playing again, I am still in Los Santos. Can't check that punk from Las venturas yet. Nice pick of the hookers, gonna try find them all see if there all strapped. Taxi drivers with guns? That's interesting have to try that out. BTW just read and saw a movie of a third drug dealer that looks like a biker, that supposedly appears only when you start a new game and spawns on the streets. Yep, extremely rare, though. In my 3 years of playing, i have not encountered him once. I'd love to see him, i've read a bit about him. Spawns around Unity Station at the beginning, i think. For me, the ammunation men always carry dual-wielded 9mms, but their resistance to shots is low, they die with two 9mm shots. Yup. Off topic: It happened to me several yrs. ago. I was on Grove, trying to park a car in the garage when a guy came and stole my car. If I remember correctly he had a 9mm. He looked gangsta' but he wasn't a gangster. He had a white, striped shirt and jeans. (I was a n00b at SanAn. Never tried to do the 1st mission 2nd time. Now I'm near finished . Just to explain...) Rhoda Posted December 26, 2019 Share Posted December 26, 2019 Seeing this topic made me think of something I always wondered but don't have the technical tools to check - are taxi drivers more inclined to be aggressive by nature? I find that more often than not out of all the cars I crash into, taxi drivers are more likely to either hound me by following me or getting out of their car altogether, waving shovels in the air.
