MrJohn666 Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 Get this: I was playing free mode earlier, but several games I hopped in and out of had options like cops on, blips off, respawn near auto aim allowed and the people in the games were being violent and deathmatchy, people congretating around the airport, being nasty over the mics, sh*t like that. So anyway, I didn't get massively worked up about it, start an argument, post a "grrrr!" thread on the Internet or throw things around, I just accepted that these things happen, moved on to games I did like and behaved like a mature adult. I was playing an Algonquin level and this guy on my team kept driving over his teammates and trying to blow us up with the Rocket Launcher. Free mode melee weapons friendly fire off airport So little chance of death or weapons, other than the rpg from a chopper. Got chasing this racer guy in his Coquette (sp?), he went past the airport terminal and drove up against the building, on the slope at the back of the terminal, where you can glitch hop in to the building. I was in a pickup. God this is descriptive. Anyway, he can't go left or right, it's like a vert half pipe (skateboard reference), only up or down. I stop my truck behind his car as he's stuck on the vert. I get right behind him, jam on the handbrake and rev my engine. He's trying to reverse against me. He's stuck. He starts beeping his horn. A lot. A minute or so of this, being stuck in that position by me and a friend of his walks over with a bat, tries attacking me, only breaks the window. Gives up. Three minutes later, he gets out of the car, tries the bat himself. Also fails. He gets back into the stuck car and I'm sitting pissing myself laughing, if only he had a mic. FIVE minutes pass, his revving is getting nowhere, I am not giving in, none of his friends have come to help. I keep an eye on the radar for anyone coming at me from the chopper area with an RPG, nope. TEN minutes. I've got a great dual screen feature on my TV, so I can watch TV and keep an eye on GTA at the same time. My fingers are a bit cramped, stuck in that brake/rev position. Infact it happened last night (Story Time Kids!): I had just jumped in the Fire Engine as some player (Name was Chico or something, more than enough of a reason to grief him tbh) had came round the corner in a Sultan RS. He hopper out and took aim at me (FF was off :S) and fired a few rounds into the drivers bay. I spun the hose and proceeded to keep him thoroughly drenched. After a while I lined up the Fire Truck with him and while he tried to get to his feet I'd run him over. Then I'd begin to soak him again as he came out from under the back of the truck. I'd then reverse and (excusing the pun) rinse and repeat. After a while he died from constantly being knocked around and then after left game after he spawned. Good times. MrJohn666 Posted November 21, 2008 Author Share Posted November 21, 2008 I met a cool bunch of guys yesterday, we were bored racing, most of us were on mics, so we flew across town, got a fire engine each then headed back to the airport to race them. Two randoms spawned into the game, started attacking us, so all four of us dealt with them. Poor sods kept coming back, getting hosed, getting shot. Loads of other comedy moments occurred when one of the guys ditched his engine in favour of a chopper and kept 'blading randoms. Absolutely hilarious. Eventually it turned into a deathmatch with more n00bs arriving and trying to attack, but with four of us working together, I didn't die once in the whole hour I was in that free mode session!
