Subtle
I spinned around with a policecar and destroyed some of the sirene lights on top, resulting in the sirens sounding totally f*cked up. Impressive detail.
DC93
Yeah the game has those little touches that make the game a little more interesting. But for the life of me I've f*cked up about 40 police cars by smashing the sh*t into them and still no weird siren noise, haha.
FiliGTAFan
I spinned around with a policecar and destroyed some of the sirene lights on top, resulting in the sirens sounding totally f*cked up. Impressive detail. I like that detail as well. There are lots of details in GTA IV so you would probably find another one. Yeah the game has those little touches that make the game a little more interesting. But for the life of me I've f*cked up about 40 police cars by smashing the sh*t into them and still no weird siren noise, haha. It doesn't always happen to me when I destroy them either... JasonThummel
I love causing fatal wheel damage to my car in the middle of a chase. I clipped a staircase a bit too hard with my rear tire and the car would not move anymore, so I had to scramble through an alleyway to get another car. Subtle
Also a nice detail, is if you puncture all your tires with a gun, and start driving, after a while the tires will get worn of, so eventually u will be driving without any tires at all, its pretty funny to drive around like that. I've noticed it only happens when I roll the car and the top gets smashed up. I think it has something with the siren being on the top of the car and when you roll it, it gets damaged. Just my guess. Haha, yeah, it sucks when you drop a grenade too close to yourself in the middle of a chase and f*ck up both rear wheels. It happened to me in that mission where you have to retrieve some heroin from a mansion with Phil.
Rucke
Yeah I also noticed this thing. But like someone said, it only works when the car rolls over. Shooting at the sirenes won't work.
Jolly_good_pie
yeh, im still finding out new stuff about this game everyday its that good
Mo4pheus
Actually, the siren is right in the middle of the lightbar on top of the police car. Found this out doing the vigilante missions awhile back. I was hiding (not active cover) and shot the "M-16" across the top and destroyed the left and middle of the light bar resulting in the siren sounding all jacked up. So, just shoot the top in the middle and it should make it sound funny.

Hart
Yeah I also noticed this thing. But like someone said, it only works when the car rolls over. Shooting at the sirenes won't work. Actually yes it does, shoot the lights on the top, and then activate the siren.
[MenaceMovies]
Yeah I also noticed this thing. But like someone said, it only works when the car rolls over. Shooting at the sirenes won't work. Actually yes it does, shoot the lights on the top, and then activate the siren. I've just tested the theory by shooting the Police car lights and then activating them and the siren sound is still fine and works as usual, even the lights still light up. EDIT: I did another test just so my results were acurate and this time, shooting at the siren/lights DID make the sound go all messed up. uzi 9mm
Yea it's cool shooting the sirens and jearing the resulting sound but it also sounds annoying so i dont turn them off. Here's a few other details I noticed and liked. - Dirty cars have marks where the windscreen wipers wipe. - stabbing or batting people on certain body parts can kill with one blow. - dissapearing down a back route of alleys will allow you to lose the police easily - the variation of car control when the ground is wet instead of dry, the screeching sounds of the brakes sounds nice and realistic - running over already dead peds still makes the car tumble theres loads of others but my mind is somewhere else at the moment
