tuff_luv_capo
Just wiki'd this to freshen up. Pretty crazy it crashed in a freakin street. Usually there is some hope in the near-airport crashes, where there are survivors. Not only did everyone die, 5 on the ground did as well. The oddest footage is that of construction workers capturing the plane take off and then turning back to see pluming smoke. Anyways, the inexperienced pilot appears to be at blame. It's a shame when you have the power to end 265 lives with your ignorance.
Mike Tequeli
Wow I almost completely forgot this ever happened, it was so close to 9/11 that nobody really remembered. Pretty large scale disaster though, quite tragic.
Slamman
The investigations often take over a year to complete as the parts are painstakingly put into original place to determine the faults. I believe that's done every time without regard to a black box being recovered.

Taste Of Chaos
I've heard of this one, just wiki'd it. I had no idea it was only a month after September the 11th! That must have been such a shock to everyone globally who knew. Jesus. R.I.P Opportunity knocks once in a lifetime, temptation will lean on the doorbell. ass reamer
Wow, how did I not know about this at all? I guess this kinda got lost in the post-9/11 craze.
Mainland Marauder
I remember when this happened. It took me awhile to gather that this wasn't a terrorist hijacking and that the plane had just smashed on its own into that neighborhood. Hodgey.
I just used Wikipedia to see what you were on about Neo as ive never heard of this crash before. I suppose that if it didnt happen so soon after 9/11 it would of got more coverage and i would of known about it.

Hmmm nice bike
I somewhat remember when this was (it was a month after 9/11). It wasn't on the news much, either (one of my friends I was talking to said she never heard of this one, probably because pretty much the only thing on the news was just talking about 9/11, stories connected to it, and replaying the same footage over and over again). I also remember when everyone thought that this was a terrorist attack, too. Hell, I even know some people who still think it was. Yep, I've seen the video of the workers taping the plane taking off. If only they had been recording for about another 30 seconds, they probably would have caught it. Also, there was another video from a toll booth security camera that showed the plane, and it going down with a trail of smoke behind it ( . And you've seen the crash yourself, "before your eyes?" Wow, must have been a terrible sight. Another thing, a similar incident happened here in Chicago in 1979, where American Airlines Flight 191 took off from O'Hare and crashed just a few seconds after takeoff (it crashed in a trailer park, I believe off Touhy Avenue, in a suburb called Des Plaines, which borders the city, and the airport). 273 people died in that one (two were on the ground), making it the worst single airplane crash in US history. It crashed due to an engine coming off and hitting the wing (knocking out the hydraulic fluid and causing an electrical failure) while speeding down the runway before takeoff, and when it took off, it turned sideways and then went down due to the pilots having little to no control. Someone also took a picture of the plane while it was in trouble. The anniversary of that crash (May 25th) is also the day of my birthday, too (and when another large plane crashed in Asia in 2002). Both are very sad incidents. R.I.P. to those who died in 587.
