Thanks for this, but we know about it, it's OLD news, man!! Oh, right Qwerty! It is likely the theft of your auto. That is delayed in some cases. Depends on phones from peds I think, or where the police are walking. They have to see you. In fact, I was on foot escaping a perimeter... a police squad car drove by me on the left and I was in view of it, but he drove past, unaware, so assume in that case, he was not glancing left or right where peripheral vision would point me out.
