WellsMcK
People who think the game can handle planes need to play the game. I have noticed it is horrible when flying helicopters and that it has some serious loading issues. I have some video from the game while driving in a Sultan RS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8lU3DwZHUk
Jimbo85
Mate, that was during online play..... That sort of sh*t is pretty much expected when you are online. I have never had a glitch like that in SP

Algonquin Assassin
The disc must be almost f**ked to be doing that. My GTA IV has never done that in SP, or MP.

Anyway, here's the same thing in SP, same car and same stretch of road: Sorry for the quality but got no other way of recording it right now. KingBulleT 8747
whats the point? the car is just too fast for the game, so it not loads the original objects fast, so theres still the LOD-Object. nothing special.
numdmind
If it's the 360 version he's playing on , I can easily believe the pop-in. It's horrible in my 360 version, but my PS3 version is much better. And it's not my disc or my system. It's the crappy Xbox. I'm sorry that you won't accept that, but it is the truth. And everyone seems to have missed the main point of this topic - The game will not handle planes very well if this happens when driving cars. Hell, there's a lot of pop-in when I'm in helicopters. Besides, planes are irrelevant. They are useless in Liberty City. It doesn't fit in with the game at all. Accept it people, it's not Grand Theft Aero (yeah, I'm fully aware of the mission by that name in GTA III). That was the biggest problem with San Andreas. Too much crap that was irrelevant to the game. You've got Saints Row 2 for that nonsense. Take the pointless vehicles and childish humor and leave it with a company that thrives on marketing to pre-teen wanna-be gangsters from Suburbia. Gunde
The pop-in issues I have on the XBox are so minor I really have to look for it.
Shaunr
I've never really seen myself lag before. The only time it happens is when someone joins the game. I've never thought to myself: "hey, someone's joining, oh wait, no, that's just me lagging." But sometimes people tell me I'm lagging bad, then boot me. They tell me to restart my xbox and I'm just like fu** you.
Zump
Actually, yes, the game could handle planes. Unless you're driving them on that street. On the sky only thing it needs to load is the buildings and trees.
