Hmmm nice bike
Happy birthday! Also, I have played the game on an HDTV, but I myself don't own one (my TV is a Sony from the early 90s ). Just too expensive (and as of now I'd rather save up for a new computer or new camcorder than a TV). I must admit, though, the game looks MUCH better in HD. But, then again, what doesn't look better in HD?

xNamexTakenx
I got a 42" Samsung 1080i HDTV on Saturday. But, I haven't got the chance of playing my PS3 on it yet since I haven't gotten an HDMI cable yet. As soon as I do, though I'll def. play on HD. But, I've already played IV on HD and it looks way better than on my previous crap standard-def. TV.

BloodOcean
I remember back when people were talking about the carwashes in GTA4 not changing how the car looked, which is probably true if one is playing on standard def, but you can see a huge difference in high def. HD just makes everything better. BTW, 50" samsung 1080p here. I've been thinking of starting a "Post your Home Theater" thread in gen chat, wonder if it's time yet . . ... Nope just the plain old crappy RCA cables unlike the dual RCA/Component cable the 360 comes with. No biggie for me as I needed a HDMI to DVI cable to connect it to my monitor anyway. I don't see it being too big of a deal anyway. After not wanting to have a bundle of cords behind my Xbox I bought an HDMI cable through newegg today for a total of like $9. That's including shipping and tax.
-Chewy-
Im tempted to get some HDMI cables, but it most likely wont be much of a (noticable) an improvement on the Ypbpr things that the 360 has and thanks to the people who wished me a happy birthday (its today ) Edited November 12, 2008 by -Chewy-

DC93
Probably because PS2 games were never meant to be played in HD Happy birthday Chewy, the closest I am to HDTV-ness is a 15" Akura LCD with an RGB Scart cable. It's in between SD and HD, I call it ED

-Chewy-
lol, I played GTA IV in front of my parents last night (to demonstrate HD lolz) and they where literally lughing out loud, especially when I was running people over and to the dude who asked about HD looking better than a PC screen, the awnser is, yes it does, as long as the game supports HD (it doesnt look as good with, for example, PS2 games)
