vininfinite
I making a website for one of my IT classes. Rather then doing it all in HTML I mostly did it in Flash given my lack of HTML know how. I've embedded the flash and used a table to make it center, but no matter what I do my video gets cropped at the edges. In a normal case that would be fine, but not in this one. How do I go about showing a SWF without cropping/border and without distorting it? I've tried googling for help, but i keep getting links to video converters. It's due tomorrow, so help would be lovely.
TheRoper
Might be too late for ya, but if you post a link or at least some code I could probably tell you pretty quick. $$$ MAKE MONEY WITH NEOBUX $$H
vininfinite
I got an extra day to work on it. <body><table height="100%" width="100%"><tr><td valign="middle" align="center"><script type="text/javascript">AC_FL_RunContent( 'codebase','http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0','width','900','height','600','align','absmiddle','src','images/QCQ_DNA','quality','high','pluginspage','http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash','bgcolor','#000000','movie','images/QCQ_DNA' ); //end AC code</script><noscript><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0" width="900" height="600" align="absmiddle"> <param name="movie" value="images/QCQ_DNA.swf" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="BGCOLOR" value="#000000" /> <embed src="images/QCQ_DNA.swf" width="900" height="600" align="absmiddle" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" bgcolor="#000000"></embed></object></noscript></td></tr></table></body>
TheRoper
Well it'd be easier with a link, so we could see it in action. But judging just from that snippet, perhaps the width of the swf (900px) is wider than the table..? Try "100%" for the swf width attribute..? Again if you have a link, post it, if it's not too late. Sorry if that didn't help. $$$ MAKE MONEY WITH NEOBUX $$H
