They were swiftly removed. In Chicago, GTA4 bus ads were also removed after a number of complaints. I find there's a limit to this that makes sense. It may have been one of the big Networks though, but on an article (TV) about businesses that are fairing the economic crisis well, GTA's name came up! I was elated, as the TV journalist commented that the killing and crime is a nice way to vent one's frustrations over the real world! I said EXACTLY! Slamman Posted December 12, 2008 Author Share Posted December 12, 2008 I noticed I didn't really explain the TV story well, in terms of the GTA reference, which I jumped specifically to, but the story was on TV here, not just a blurb in some newspaper. I felt it was cool...you don't see GTA mentioned much, even though the development continues. The basis of the story was on businesses that are not being effected by economic hardship presently, and of course, the Gaming Industry was the second one mentioned...Them along with Doctors and some others I forget presently. The funny thing I recall when I heard the story, however, is that I had read here in the news on the GTA section covering specifics with regard to Take 2 Interactive, that they took some hits to their bottom line as well, over the course of the year, since the game released.
