Girish Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 The VLA does not own any territory in SA. They are Cesar's gang and the chances of them attacking your territory is nil. I believe you're talking about the Vagos. The Vagos will continue to attack you as long as they own territories in SA. Finish them off and they no longer attack you. If you're talking about the VLA, then the only time they aren't hostile is during the mission 'Los Desperados'. Other than that, they are programmed to attack you just like any other gang would. I'm pretty damn sure that the Aztecas's cannot start gang wars because they do not own any territories in the first place. Gang wars can be only with Ballas and the Vagos. GTA_Loco Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 Well the the Aztecas sort of own a small territory in El Corona where Cesar lives and where you have a safehouse. They don't engage in a formal gang war though as noted, but they sure attack CJ in an almost regular manner. CJ may be a close friend of Cesar but the amity only goes as far as with him and not with his gangmates. So, the Aztecas and CJ and his homies are always programmed to hate each other. As for gang wars, if my memory still serves me right, it can be triggered between other gangs (mafia, Da Nangs?) if the territory glitch is triggered (PS2 v1.0). Afaik, the territory glitch hands over territories to only Ballas and Vagos. The other gangs are never involved in gang wars even with the territory glitch. They actually engaged the Rifa, and talked to them, and wouldn't stop talking to them. No fighting or anything. I took a few pictures of it, not sure if I still have it though.
