Didn't you just make a new story yesterday?

Y'know, I dunno how many times I have preached this. Maybe twice or more, I really don't know. But if your gonna start a story, atleast TRY to stick to it. Idlewood Immortals, you didn't even get past the second chapter. *sigh*, I'm sorry, this just won't do. You had a thing going with For My Brother. You really didn't havta start a whole new story. Whatever, do your thang. But if you drop this, I'm sure a whole lotta people are gonna be pissed with all these topics. mad.gif.

I understand your complaint, believe me. The reason I do this though is because I'm one of those people who has an idea one minute and it is gone the next. I think I am going to drop FMB and juggle II and this. FMB started out nice but I just kinda lost interest and I fealt it was too generic after a while. Plus the lack of interest helped in my decision to drop the project. I do write for enjoyment if I didn't I wouldn't be in here all day writing sh*t up and i wouldn't have 30 things saved on Microsoft Word but it is also frustrating seeing no interest and very, very limited feedback it is very frustrating. I want to provide something that I both enjoy doing and something that people will enjoy themselves and I don't think FMB did a good job accomplishing either one. Once more I apologize for all of the topics, I think I may have ADHD with all of them popping up biggrin.gif

P.S- to be completely clear Idlewood Immortals is not being dropped just FMB, II and this will be juggle between eachother. I see no problem with working on 2 projects at once, you can expect new chapters for II and new mission for SAS in the near future

Life Saver

CUTSCENE: Jimmy is sitting on the hood of his car outside the casino, with him are two younger looking guys no older than 20.

Jimmy: "Hi Johnny, I'd like you to meet a couple friends of mine. This miserable fat bastard is Al Liotta and this is Nicky De Niro. Al and Nick this is John, a good friend of mine. Listen Paulie has set up a deal with some Russians from Liberty City. They are coming in at Verdant Meadows in about 40 minutes. A simple exchange, the green for the guns. I have two trucks waiting at a diner a few miles away from the airport. On my word they pull the trucks into the Russians' jet and we get the money, you're coming along."

John: "Sounds easy enough, why do you need me?"

Jimmy: "'Cause I don't trust these communist Ruskie f*cks further than I can throw 'em. You are gonna camp the deal from a vantage point, a rifle is waiting there for you. Now get in the car we can't be late."

GAMEPLAY:

Drive the Sindacco's to the Deal

All you need to do is make it to the meeting place before 22:00 o'clock. You have plenty of time so don't rush and risk crashing the car. When you arrive at Verdant Meadows drive into the red marker to trigger your next objective.

Get to the Vantage Point

Head into the building on your left and grab the rifle, then climb onto the roof and watch over the deal. Keep your crosshairs over the Russian gangsters. A shot will ring out and Al with drop to the ground.

Kill the Sniper

This is a very challenging objective to complete, the sniper runs all of the airport and is very tough to hit. He will run, take cover, and then he will take a shot at either you or Jimmy. The sniper will frequently pause for a a couple of seconds to line up his shot. When this happens take your shot! If you miss or fail to pull the trigger his rifle with drain almost half of your health and two hits from the weapon is fatal for Jimmy. You have limited ammo so fire wisely, after 4 hits the sniper should die.

CUTSCENE: Jimmy: "You're a life saver Johnny my boy! Another shot from that asshole and we ain't having this conversation. Here's your cut, caio."

No offense but this isn't very good. You seem to have taken The Unvirginiser's idea of a British gangsters but don't seem to put in at least half of the effort he puts into his San Andreas Stories. The missions aren't very imaginative and the cutscenes are very short and have little dialouge to explain why they need to go on the mission. The executions was a good idea which has been done already in various other games, including GTA 4. I'm not trying to discourage you from continuing this but you need to greatly improve this. Anyway good luck in whatever you choose to do. icon14.gif

War Games

It's late at night, the casino is closed and void of any people except for Jimmy who is waiting for John at the front door. Jimmy opens the door and leads John to the elevator.

Jimmy: "Alright listen, things with the Leones have been getting heated. Salvatore and his younger nephew Carlo are trying to muscle in on our operation down here. The boss has called a meeting with the top dogs and a few friends from out of town. He said it was fine if I invited you, you need to get situated with what's going on."

John: "Oh, Mob wars are always fun."

Jimmy: "This ain't no laughing matter man, sh*t could go south and you could wind up in some asshole's trunk."

The elevator doors slide open. There was a long table in the center of the room. The walls were painted a light red color and there were several antique paintings and old photos hanging on the walls. A golden chandilier dangled above the table where several suited men sat. The gentleman sitting at the far end of the table rose and began to speak.

Paulie: "Gentlemen, first off I wish to thank all of you for being able to make it to this meeting tonight, especially the McReary family who flew all the way from Liberty City. It is not the best of times my friends. Salvatore Leone has recently began intruding on our operations in this city. I have consulted with him and he does not seem interested in peace but in domination of Las Venturas. Last week things became heated between us and come the next morning my son was dead, killed by a car bomb. I brought you here to ask for your help in fighting these animale, these barbarians. Do not feel pressured into agreement but your assistance would be appreciated and rewarded."

Everybody remained silent for many moments until the boss of the McReary family, Miles McReary, stood and shook Paulie Sindacco's hand and seconds later Tommy Vercetti of the Vercetti family repeated the gesture.

John Desmund had been in town for less than a week and already he was thrust into the throes of a Mafia war.............................

Yeah, I'm starting to feel this is a little rushed. The missions aren't very descriptive, and I'm not all into scripts (save San Andreas Stories; Unvirginiser, and the Heart City Series.) Aaah, well. Keep doin' ure thang'.

Snow Storm

CUTSCENE: Jimmy drives down the highway heading taking a deep drag of his cigarette and blowing the smoke out of the window.

John: So tell me Jimmy where are we going?

Jimmy: We're going to meet Nick at his apartment in Fierro. You remember him from that 'deal' with the Russians.

John: Of course I remember him, what does he need us for?

Jimmy: Nothing, he's just the guy who has enough guns to fuel an army stocked up in his bedroom.

Jimmy stops in front of a large luxurious apartment building. He leads John into the elevator and they ascend to the 14th floor. They walk all the way down to the end of the hall to room 514. Jimmy knocks and seconds later Nick opens the door. He is wearing a tan suit with a brown tie, his hair is jet black and soaked in grease, and it's slicked back as far as it can go.

He leads Jimmy and John to his bed and grabbed a large duffel bag from under the mattress. Inside are several handguns and rifles with loads of ammunition packed around them. Jimmy's eyes light up at the sight and he pulls out a Desert Eagle from the bag.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GAMEPLAY: You are now in Jimmy's Sentinel, drive to the blip on your radar Jimmy will explain the mission as you go.

Jimmy: We're going to a warehouse nearby, the Leones are using it to push snow throughout the state. We're gonna go up in there and tear the f*cking place apart.

John: Alright, sounds fun. I got dibs on the AK though.

Jimmy: Whatever.

Park the car at the front gate to trigger your next objective.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kill the Leones

Seems simple but this is very challenging. There are five waves of Leone thugs and they carry bigger guns with each passing wave. The first batch of gangsters comes bearing standard Colt .45 pistols. I suggest using your Uzi for these guys as you'll want to save the shotgun and AK47 for later. Take cover behind the small hut on your left and take down the Leones whenever they pop their heads out to get a shot.

After you've iced about 10 0f them a new group arrives, these boys armed with Uzis. Your cover should be battered pretty badly at this point so move to the parked cars to your far right unless you wanna be pumped full of holes. Continue to pick off the guys on the ground and be alert as a few men will shoot at you from the roof of th ebuilding at the center of the area and you can be killed pretty quickly if you aren't paying attention. When the last of this crew falls a new wave attacks using shotguns.

Now is the time for run-n-gun as the shotguns will go through any cover you try to take. Keep your distance from the mobsters and aim for the quick headshot and at this point you'll have to pay close attention to Jimmy as he'll begin to take heavy fire and if he falls, you fail. Keep in mind it is very important that keep moving or you'll be mince meant in no time. When the final one of these goons drop a small squad of body-armoured M4 wielding gangsters arrives to bring you down.

Theor weapons don't do the damage of a shotgun but they have an exceptionally fast firing rate and they will kill you in a blink of an eye if you take too much fire. The long row of parked cars to your left will provide temprorary cover but do not linger for too long as the car will catch fire after too many hits. Use or AK47 to shoot the straps of the Leones' body armour and pepper them with shells when the vest falls off. Jimmy will draw their fire away from you when he opens fire so use this oppurtunity as best as you can, when the last wop falls a single mobster runs out onto the roof of the far building wielding a heavy machine gun.

Kill the Machine Gunner

This guy can be one tough mother if you aren't a good shot. You will be hiding behind the building in the center of the map and Jimmy will attempt to draw the fire of the M60 wielding mafioso. You have ONE shot to take this guy down so I suggest you switch your AK47 to single shot for this boss. Jimmy will count to 3 and take off to the right and the gunner will open fire. You have 3.5 seconds to line up your shot, don't try to make it perfect just shoot as many rounds as you can towards the gunner. If you succeed the gunner will fall and you'll get a hefty sum of cash.
