Carface80
Thanks everyone,, hopefully i don't cut corners on this. Im struggling to figure out what door jamb looks like, since reference photo are as rare as the delorans. Im using maya and i have to convert obj to 3ds so i can import it to zmod. No interior yet... Carface80
Update, im bogging down a bit. I have a converter that converts obj to 3ds then import it to zmod, works pretty well and been doing it on last 4 mods. Depending on my motivation, im thinking about having lowriders or even a cop car.
GTA_XP
Looks very nice man! Can you work with zmodeler too?
Carface80
i dont use zmod for modeling anymore, i use maya then convert it to 3ds file so i can import to zmod to finalise exprting to San Adnreas. anyway im modeling the engine and still a lot of thing i have to do. More screens comming if i made significant progress.

I know theres a conversion of it but, its not as good as it could be.

Thanks, schaefft, I am hoping, with this much details, i don't go too far with poly count I still have to clean up some geometries, right now its about 29k and still have those crappy wheels and stripped interior. Reference is still an issue and one of my lame excuses for taking too long to model, for some reason, there is not enough fan site (except for Fuselage.de) and few hits on Ebay. Its a shame because its a very good looking car and its great if they pimp it out. I like re-doing my Caprice, the model is still pretty decent, but I felt it takes less time to re-do it again and its more optimal. I notice you kind of re-do your Impala, looks excellent BTW. I attempted to model that kind of car a while a ago (before the very first 2003 impala mod came out) and i ended up giving up out of frustration and model a much older boxier and easier 1980's impala.
