its just a shame that your not going to be able to mod the game and play online with it because of the PC LIVE service shame really, Looks like the PC version will have to have up unofficial servers again just like SA MP.

 

Be carfull what you say about us XBOXERS if it wasnt for us paying our 40pound a year then you may have actually had to PAY a fee to use your service and play GTA4 Online.

That really bugged me, it's thanks to the PC that Microsoft actually exists. You are aware that it's the PC division that is single handedly propping the xbox 360 UP. If anything it is the PC that is subsidising the damn console not the other way round.

 

There is one simple reason why MS are not charging for GFWL the PC is an open system with competition. There are dozens of different companies just waiting to offer multiplayer gaming and let us not forget steam a network that puts both XBL and PSN to shame and is totally free to use.

 

The fact is Xbox users are being screwed I know it, all PC users know it, PS3 users know it and even MS are laughing their arses off because they know it. The only people that don't seem to know it are Xbox 360 users.

 

I have had experience of XBL I was not impressed, constant disconnections from host and massive lag. I quite frankly felt like I was back on 56k sometimes when I used XBL. In contrast steam a totally FREE online service is light years ahead of XBL. Unfortunately I can't use steam with GTA 4 because Microsoft has got it's talons embedded in the game.

 

So will I feel "greatful" to the xbox users that pay for their service so I can game online ????? Erm no because it is a mere drop in the ocean compared to how much the PC has contributed propping up the Xbox and 360 and we have plenty of alternatives but we are being blocked from using them.

Thank god we have smart people like the MTA crew and ... well the dudes that did sa-mp and vc-mp.

 

I see plenty of good reason to help these guys as much as I can.

Mta crew dropped the ball with mtasa, sa-mp finally got it right with san andreas. I would love to see them join forces and get something good out fast and then split up and go back the way they where once we can all get online.

 

I mean they act like it's some marketable product with specific copyrights..( I mean their works of mod)
