I'm very sad to see this.

I can play Assassin's Creed with all high, perfectly, and Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, at all max, fine playing aswell.

What do you think brothers?

Well...

Im pleased...

My PC passed the minimum on Can You Run It and I got around 6000 points on 3DMARK (which is past the recommended).

Mind you, I built it about 1.5 years ago for a measly $400.

Hello again,

My situation is very complicated.

It seems that the only bad thing is the Processor's power and/or speed.

Actually it seems that its not very far to minimum of the CPU rating.

So my question is that, will I be able to run GTA IV on my Computer, with medium+ graphic settings?

you will not probably even run GTA IV! First read the system requirements for GTA IV PC.And if your rig does not match with minimum requirements then you will not be able to play GTA IV PC

Of course he will be able to run it, but not on high!

Even a single core can run it on low.

I pass all the minimums easily and on the recommended settings, the only things I fail are CPU (I have AMD Athlon X2 5600+ 2.81GHz) and RAM (I have 2GB, not 2.5GB). I am buying a stick of 1GB RAM, not only because of this, but it seems RAM is more demanded in newer titles. I currently have an NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT 1GB, but on Christmas, will be upgrading to an ATI Radeon HD4850.

I don't get this. Someone please help me out.

Okay.

System Requirements Lab says I am .20 GHz off for CPU for miminum requirements. However VirtualMark says I am good to go CPU wise.

Also I have a GeForce 6200 512MB AGP GPU. I have all the memory this game needs including vertex shaders, pixel shaders, Video HW Transform & Lighting, and acceleration. However because I guess it's an older card it won't work? I only PCI and AGP slots on my mobo. Its not ancient, it's last gen MSI.

SO I have the memory requirements, can't I just play the game on medium settings or something? Or does my GPU series really make that much of a difference. Recommended settings call for 512MB which I have. The bar is RIGHT at the borderline fail/pass mark for GPU.

I am debating buying GTA IV, I am not sure how it runs because I have been hearing some bad things.

AMD Phenom 9600 black edition

ATI 3870 EAH 512

2 Gigs of RAM

DFI 790FX M2R

Windows XP 32bit Home Edition

Thanks for the help.

I get great FPS in FC2 at the highest settings at 1680x1050, just want to see a comparison.

One simple question - does it run on single core? That's the only thing I want to know smile.gif

I think it does, because some guys with single core have ran IV normally.

I pass the Minimum Requirements except for the graphic card, which is radeon x1600 pro.

Once i start the game the screen turns black and goes standby, had this once before with a game but after installing new drivers back then it did work. Now, can someone tell me if this is because of my graphic card? Im planning on buying a geforce 9800gt , can someone confirm that it will run on this one?

Hi!

I´m new here, and i just tested if my pc would meet the requirements for gta 4, and here are the results:

user posted image

It seems that i meet even the recommended requirements except for the cpu.

I´m running on the Intel Core 2 duo E 6850 @ 3.00Ghz, versus the reccomended Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600.

How is this going to effect the gaming experience for me? Is it vital for the game to even run smoothly, or is it of less importance when i surpass the other recommended requirements bigtime?

Sorry for asking such a dumb question, but i´m not really good at computers blush.gif

And sorry if my english is crappy, i´m from Sweden, and trying hard to make you understand my english tounge.gif

done test and my radeon 9800xt and athlon 64 fx-57 (oc to 3000MHZ) failed.

if i changed to a radeon HD 3850 do u think i would be able to run the game even on the lowest settings?
