Just bragging again. tounge.gif

That is the max the result geos up too, it is capped and deosnt take into account of overclocks. It only detects your specific hardware and not its performance.

I had them off and on to test it and it made no difference, they do however give me an addition 6000 points in Vantage so they do make a difference for real.

A lot of you guys failing will probably still have no problems with a little tweaking of your PC.

@TheRealPcGamer: Lets see both your test results, bet yours is capped at three bars from end too. If not, you are teh winna.

We need to get a list of all those who max it for some Full settings MP games.

I hope for medium/high setings on 1280x1024 on my system:

Dual Core E2180 2.0 ghz

2 GB DDR2 on dual chanel

ATI Radeon HD 4670 512 DDR3

Asus wide 19" monitor  blush.gif

How does HD4670 perform??

I play Call of Duty 4 and CoD:WaW on all setings high and on 1440x900 resolution.I have over 60 FPS on that setings

I am realy satisfied with this card.I spend only 75 euros smile.gif

It's not like my expensive Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT that overheats with assassin's creed cryani.gifsuicidal.gif

Well ATI is beter choise now then vVidia

I also whant 9600GT but i hear that this HD4670 is beter choise and less cost.

And after 2-3 hours of playing codwaw on all high setings temperature of card is about 45-50 C'

According to CanYouRunIt my 8600M GT is above the minimum. But according to 3Dmarks' Virtuamarks it's slightly below minimum. Which one should I trust? Or does it even matter?

3Dmarks is a bit more trustworthy but not really, but here's the fact:

The 8600GT(Recommended card) is slower than all of the minimum cards so you 8600M GT is a little bit slower than the 8600 GT but you should be fine

Should I be able to run GTA IV on high with those specifications biggrin.gif?

According the Game-O-Meter I should but I don't trust those kind of things. Once it said that I can't run Crysis but actually I was able to run Crysis with Very High.

Thank you.

Ok, heres something that confused me ..

I had in a box an ATI Radeon HD 3650 512mb GDDR3 meant for my second PC ..

In my PC I have an ATI Radeon X1800 512mb, I ran the tests with this GPU and on Yougamer it came up as pass on minimum only, and on canyourunit it failed !

I decided to switch the GFX cards about and after much screwing and installing I got it in and ran the tests again ..

On Yougamer it now doesn't even pass the minimum, but I get this on canyourunit ..

I'm very confused, I'm sure the HD 3650 is a better card, but then why does yougamer fail it ?

Advice welcomed, thanks.

Weird..... but remember these test; you can never really trust them

Eh, I passed in everything but video card, which is a 7600GS 512mb AGP. I might still be able to run it without shaders. In fact, I'll be surprised if I can't run it.

It says a 8500GT can't run it and the 7600GS is a little slower so hard to say

There's gotta be an option to turn off every visual effect (So it would look like SA with better textures). My system isn't suited for Next-Gen gaming, but luckily the visual effects can be turned off in most of those games. Hopefully GTAIV won't be any different.

OMG YOU GUYS!!! do ya think it will run on Windows 7????? lol, I actually run vista buy a friend of mine pirated the beta version of Windows 7 and he tried a bunch of games. he complains how they dont work lol.

And that's why I won't be upgrading my XP/Vista laptop to Windows Poopdoodle lol

Boo hoo. First of all I hope your friend realises that

1. He pirated the leaked copy of Windows 7. We PC gamers frown upon piracy because it gives developers more reason not to make games for PC.

and

2. " he compains dat they don't work lol". *cough*, *cough*, *cough* *beta* *beta*, *cough*.

Microsoft said that all things that would run on Vista would run on 7.

There was a leaked Vista years before it's official release and I'm assuming it didn't work very well (AFAIK back then it was called Longhorn). I presume the same thing would happen with Windows 7. If it leaked it's to early in development for it to be stable. Probably.

Here is my score, but www.YouGamers.com says that I have a single cored CPU running at 2.66 GHz - I have a dual cored E8200, overclocked and running @ 3.8GHz - so I think that my score should be higher. wink.gif Oh, and one more thing - At the moment I'm on x86 XP and I have 8GB of RAM (only 3.25GB detected by 32 bit OS) so I think, that if I switch to Vista x64 I'll get higher results. Anyway - I think I'll be able to run it @ high settings ... hopefuly! biggrin.gif
