You should be good to go I'm not sure about max with constant FPS though because in a review it said that the game will dip below 30 fps at times with a GTX280

hello i have a question my friend  wants to know or he can play gta iv XD he have a pentium 4  3.15 ghz and as grafical card a nvidia 9800gt can he play gta iv or no =P ?

With a P4 processor not very well 35fps max on low or medium settings because that's the bottleneck in that PC, he will need to upgrade to a Core 2 Duo processor if they want the full power of that 9800GT

Yes, if run a very high resolution(1900x1050+) it will start to hurt performance.

On lower end video cards(6800, 8500, 9400 ect....) anything above 1024x768 it will start to take a performance hit

Does my hd4850 fall under those lower end video cards?

No the 4850 is a fast video card(Mid-High ranged) and it's faster than the 8800GT so you should be fine at High to Max

Ahh dea** . My CPU is Dual core 2.2Ghz!! All other things is better then recomended biggrin.gifsad.gif

Wah! I used the YouGamers one, which showed at less than minimum requirements. Says I need a better processor/display card.

Then I go to System Requirements Lab, which shows me in the middle of 'minimum' and 'recommended' settings.

So.. I'll go with SRL. It says I need 500 MB more on my system ram, CPU, CPU speed and video card.

Damn.

I'm f*cked, my computer can't handle it and I wanted to get GTA IV for PC. It doesn't even meet the minimum requirements by a long shot. I can't afford to buy stuff to make it better.

If you get the money you can find a computer for 600-700$ that will handle this game fine

I hope for medium/high setings on 1280x1024 on my system:

Dual Core E2180 2.0 ghz

2 GB DDR2 on dual chanel

ATI Radeon HD 4670 512 DDR3

Asus wide 19" monitor  blush.gif

How does HD4670 perform??

I play Call of Duty 4 and CoD:WaW on all setings high and on 1440x900 resolution.I have over 60 FPS on that setings

I am realy satisfied with this card.I spend only 75 euros smile.gif

is the spec of a xbox 360 the same as  minimum specs for game on  pc

Almost except the 360 has a 7800GTX(faster than the minimum card)

No, the 360 has a 1900XT, PS3 has the 7800GTX.

I am seriously unhappy about this, I am contemplating selling my PS3 and getting the 4870.

Yes, that would make perfect sense... dozingoff.gif

The Dual Core processor(Not Core 2 Duo) won't fair overly well since if you compare a 1.8GHZ Core 2 Duo to it the Core 2 Duo is gonna highly beat it in performance. The video card will be fine with medium high settings but the processor will probably limit it to lowish to Medium

WTF they mean with

• Your processor is slightly more powerful in raw performance

and

• Your display card is about as powerful in raw performance

• Your display card has all the required features
