No. Do you realise the entire reason why the entire modding community had been shunned by rockstar? Why Jack Thompson is on his rampage? The catalyst was this mod. Not to mention a mod like that can't easily be implemented into a new total conversion as the main.scm file is totally stripped from the off.

 

@Those asking for updates: Wait. It's not as if develpers are deliberately keeping you in the dark, if there were pics, they'd show them when they were ready to. I for one never liking showing a half-arsed texture job when I'm making a model, cause it's WIP and is still going to be improved on. The are a lot of things that non developers don't need to see, cause it's totally irrelevant to the finished product.

 

@Devs: I'm on hold as regards modelling atm, sorting out my PC. Should be a lot faster and better when done though...still putting off buying a new PC just yet. Just cheap upgrades...here to hoping Gostown will run smoother eh? Before I backed up all my stuff ready for a re-format I was last working on my NSX...time to make a colour scheme for it...also detail skinning for it.

Dude You Should Go To Ebay And Get Parts Or Tigerdirect Or Newegg Building A Pc Is Much Cheaper but More Efficient

I'm just keeping my existing one running whilst I accumulate the parts for my new one. I got plans drawn up for my new PC but i'll probably not go ahead with them if i don't need a spanking new PC just yet. Anyway, spending about £20-30 on ram and gcard updates is worth it to keep it churning over for modding really. I wouldn't dare touch ebay for parts anyway, not to mention the agro. Misco for me .

Well...U can made a better than that.(joke)Actually is pretty bad that other useful mods not to include in GP.And this because this type and quality of this mod(GP) have all the necessary certifications to qualify that the other mods(f.e: the reflections) are not going to become some pointless part of a small crappy mod or something...In the other hand of course everyone wants and have the right to keep their mod/s with an unofficial or and official copyright.

I am having trouble installing this mod, I install it and it freezes at about 3/4 of the way through loading when I click new game. The map cleaner keeps freazing, any solutions anyone?

Yes, Reinstall gta, then use mapcleaner to get rid of SA map then install gostown

I have tried version 0.53 and 0.65 and both have had problems, 0.53 has the above. 0.65 crashes at 1/4 of the way, I have no idea what to do.

Try to play SA without any mod after a fresh install(with audio)If it works proceed.If not,Huston we have a problem.You may need to do format your PC (possible missing files and dlls).Maybe your Antivirus not aloud this application to run.Maybe you don't have the latest version for your card drivers.If map cleaner crash then try to download a new one(if map cleaner crashes then possibly the mod crash then).If u are a Vista user maybe u have some problems(not sure).I hope that helps...

 

No 0.065e is only for developers.Any chance to open it is pointless I think.

 

As u say all versions have problems or crashes then,may be you made something wrong,or there is a problem with your PC(just an idea).

Every mod has worked so far and the game did work modless before I tried to install, My computer has been fine so I doubt its that. Don't have an antivirus active at the moment. Recently had my graphics card replaced, Before I started playing San Andreas. I will try and find another map cleaner, What mod of Gostown is the most recent thats available to the public?

I got a new map cleaner and at levelmap, I got an error 'Invalid Pointer Operation'. If I were to do this manually what do I have to do to the remaining 4 files?

In zonemap there is a zone:Downtown Casino,touristic,but is not appears in the map.I think previously it was exist.Is going to be on the final version or has been consumed by Downtown,Towers?
