There'll be one one day, but for the moment the current version is a wee bit too buggy and incomplete. Hell, look at Myriad. Everyone's like "Well why isn't it complete, where are all the cars?" etc.

 

Not to mention, I think it's more fun to have the "WOW!" sensation of exploring a new city you've not been around before.

You don't have to enter a password when you download it, but you have to enter it when you try to extract the .rar file

when you spawn and bat's sound is motorcycle sound. weird.... and one more thing. bush suck. put a new character in the game. then it would be cool.

The sound problem is in your PC because the other player don't have this problem...

No. Do you realise the entire reason why the entire modding community had been shunned by rockstar? Why Jack Thompson is on his rampage? The catalyst was this mod. Not to mention a mod like that can't easily be implemented into a new total conversion as the main.scm file is totally stripped from the off.

 

@Those asking for updates: Wait. It's not as if develpers are deliberately keeping you in the dark, if there were pics, they'd show them when they were ready to. I for one never liking showing a half-arsed texture job when I'm making a model, cause it's WIP and is still going to be improved on. The are a lot of things that non developers don't need to see, cause it's totally irrelevant to the finished product.

 

@Devs: I'm on hold as regards modelling atm, sorting out my PC. Should be a lot faster and better when done though...still putting off buying a new PC just yet. Just cheap upgrades...here to hoping Gostown will run smoother eh? Before I backed up all my stuff ready for a re-format I was last working on my NSX...time to make a colour scheme for it...also detail skinning for it.

Good news from you, GTAuron, for sure, whatever is your new PC, i think it'll run smoother.

 

 

Erm, for the updates, that's a bit difficult as i'm sutdying videogames and i have to learn new engines at the moment, so i have no time for gta when at home. 5i'm mostly working with PS2's Fresh engine, and for my nextgen course unrealengine3.

 

I'll try to work a bit on the city if i have spare time. Anyway, other devs are still working. When i'm not there enough, that's Jost that leads.

The Version 0.053 puts Vice City in SA engine,also puts The incomplete gostown paradise.

The version 0.065(and so on)makes a new island,Gostown Headquarters (no SA or VC)
