[WIP|SA] Gostown6

Hey Again,

 

 

Well, I deleted my Second Directory where Gostown Was Installed, and redo it back. After i drag-and-drop my original Installed files from my GTA San Andreas Folder into the second Directory, i ran the SA Map Cleaner. Supposely, this Map Cleaner Cleans and deletes some of the Game files so it can free up more space to add more maps and files and such. After i did this step, i installed Gostown. Now, after installing, i didnt crashed when loading nor not deleting my gta_int. file, but i still have the same problems! Heres One:

 

Look at the HUD on the Bottom Left, it shows just a black area, instead of showing the Terrains and Roads. (Nice view of the Brooklyn Bridge )

 

Second One:

 

While i was doing some "Rock Climbing" on one of the Mountains, see cars going into one direction, and all of a sudden, they turn back, i was like "Wtf?!?" So i ran up there, and then i see a big empty space, with nothing. I've seen other civilian cars going into it falling for their Doom (LOL it was funny), Well heres how it look like:

 

Third One:

 

After seeing one of ParoXum's post of the tunnel in Gostown:

I decided to go there to check if i fixed it Since i ran the Map Cleaner, But...... Not Change :

 

Fourth One:

 

When i paused my Game, i checked the Map if my Map Cleaner Cleaned the SA Maps and sh*t, but still, no change.

Why is Vice City in the map, but its not in the game?

And what are those squares at the top?

 

Please, i am requiring some help on how to make my Gostown look like ParoXums Gostown all neat and fixed . Am i doing something wrong? Did i installed it Wrong? Please tell me. I know this is not the section to post my helpness , but this thread is like the Gostown thread where lots of people check it and Even the Devs. and maybe help people out into fixing the game. Thanks for taking your time to read this.

and vc was in game, what happened whit it ? errors? and the map when you pause, it is not finished.

It's because i think ParoX was tired of people bugging him for the password, so he released a public version of the dev kit, i dont know tho...

Well... Gostown is pretty freakin' big IMO, and i like that . Its a little hard to explore since the Maps in my HUD and my Map at the Pause menu is chopped up and messy.

 

I dont know if VC in game got errors or VC is an error in the game.. But this Mod will own if it had Vice City, and this map included all together and even include an airport for flying and stuf since San Andreas includes kind of lots of Planes and Helis

If you followed the topic back from when it got renamed to Gostown6, you should know that they took Vice City out because it was too big, and they didnt want to make Gostown smaller, so they had to let it go. At least thats what i heard...

As the download is for development, don't you think you should take the link off the website if it's not supposed to be played? Developers can get the pack from you.

 

Otherwise, you are going to continue to get loads of comments about it, and lets face it, nobody is going to listen when you say it's only for development if the link is right in front of them.

Yes you're right nabo, but there's something else. In their FAQ they've written:

 

"Why is Gostown version 5's size bigger than Gostown version 6 ?Because we used to include multiple mods in one at the time. There was VCSA and MTARv packaged in the same installer. Now, for LEGAL reasons, we removed them."

Because we wanted to let interested GTAF modders test it. Of course we knew it was a bad choice for all the others that don't get why. Now that we've got a running team (approx 15 people), we might remove that package, or move it to password protected archives.

True, at least if people that don't know anything about modding do play it, they can play it in silence. On top of everything, that sentence (in caps) you say here is said alot of times in the Readme people need to read when installing.

First vid is nice, second is way better, and that because you filmed by day. Gostown By night isn't cool yet. It needs some modifications. Also, for betters vids capture, try to set brightness at 2-3, not more, else the prelighting is f*cked

Parox you really did a great job on this . . . I was gone for a week at football camp and I just realized how fast you guys work.
