Hey one question, i know i maybe should of done a search, but theres no way in heck im looking through almost 240 pages for the answer. Anyways, what does the RUMBLE script do?

I replaced the files in the script folder and the only thing it does is spawn me somewhere else.

Any missions,fights, etc?

Edit: also cool find. I see that my computer runs Gostown ALOT better if my visual fx detail is VERY HIGH. I usually run it at low, and i get average 60fps, but with the settings at Very high, i get around 70-80. Just a cool thing id like to share

hi. when i play GP with enb the framerate go down to 15. is it because there are water under gostown or there are too much pixels in the game?

when i enter a moded car (i don't know if i hav the permission of the GP team), the car that i hav entered disapear and i can't see it in the roads!!?? can somebody can give me an explication or a tips? if that mean that i can't enter moded car i won't it again, but if i can help me pliz....

1. We can do nothing about your problems with ENB. Go to its topic and try some of the tips to increase fps

2. We don't care about problems that did happen by mods that were not include in the actual release

My PC is:

AMD AthlonXP 2700+

2.17GHz

512MB RAM

and a 128mb Graphic Card

 

And Ghostown work on my Computer really good.

On my PC in my office at home, it would run Gostown grudgingly. It runs better on my laptop, since this laptop has about 6 times the RAM. So, I'll have to do a major overhaul to the RAM, processor, graphics card, and maybe some other stuff. It's not fun to own a stock computer with the default sh*tty parts.

 

Anyway, I think you guys should look into developing this into a major title for the PS3/PC with a dramatic story and over-the-top music and action missions. I think you'd do well.

Well, without saying too much, that's what we plan to do sometime. Transform the mod into an Indie game. But we have time before.

 

Just to bring you guys more informations, next version - Gostown7 - has reached 1% not long time ago. Add to this the 30% done city and the mod progress must be around.

 

May I remind the map is 6000*6000 (the larger map never made for a GTA mod) and the small 1% equals to a big part of Los Santos area. Here's the map to help consider the statistics :

We're planning to have a international airport and a different small aiport, just as SA's one in the desert.

There's going to be one, with a possible Aircraft at the docks. A Nimitz class aircraft carrier.

My friend's pc

 

- Intel 3.6 GHZ 4Pentium

- 512MB RAM

- NVidia 6200

- no disc space (joking xD)

 

and game is playing @ 70-90FPS. Defaults SA @ 50FPS.

 

My Server/PC

 

- Intel Quadcore 6GHZ

- 6GB+256MB

- NVidia 7600GT

- again no disc space (this time no jokes!)

 

Game is running @ 170-200FPS. default SA @ 230FPS

 

I have a question,why on slower PC's with gostown have higher framerate than in default sa. on faster pc it decreases.

 

P.S. Jost_Vice and this beauty will be for gostown?

I have no idea why it would be slower on faster PCs neither if it's true. Maybe you were looking at the ground when taking your FPS. SA at 230fps, I doubt it. Or were you playing AF 0x, AA 0x ?

 

Anyway with the specs I posted earlier, you're able to play the game fully smoothly.
