Parox, this scene is made with the assets too? i thinks the version 7 will be more impressive than all the other one, after what i've seen last month, all those assets...very impressive work, hope my laptop will run this without lag...

It's running at 40-60 fps into max, which is alot of frame per second.

I'm glad that it'll be such high quality as it looks more HD than some HD games that have been coming out. And it beats GTA IV's fps with in my opinion better quality graphics. I'm just going to sit here silently and let this picture amaze myself some more. I can't wait to see it ingame.

which is too bad, because I remember Gostown 5's waterfall flowing... and there's the water feature in front of the casino in Las Venturas so its not impossible...

which is too bad, because I remember Gostown 5's waterfall flowing... and there's the water feature in front of the casino in Las Venturas so its not impossible...

There was a problem with that waterfall, it wont move but it has animating UV data on it (i didnt know what to do on it, really) I hope this one gets moving, if not, we will go for particle based waterfalls. They are more expensive tho, but they will look better.

Expensive?

I think by expensive he means it costs frames. (frames per second)

Particle effects are a lot more demanding then animating textures, and some older PCs may struggle.

hmmm i believe i know why the waterfall didn't work.

 

The Object of the waterfall... is there a night-vertex-color section included?

If yes there could be the problem. San Andreas didn't support NVC with animated UVW's. I don't know why

but after cleaning this section with RW-Analyzer it works fine for me...

 

If this isn't the problem just ignore my little post^^

you're correct, the dff's in SA do not support the use of animUV and NVC sections within the same model, mainly because NVC was controlled by time within the game.

 

the best solution to the problem is to seperate the polies you require to use animUV's and make a seperate model, that way the main model they're for can use NVC, if you want the animUV model to only work at night you need to make it a timed object, just like R* did with pretty much all of the Casino's in Las Venturas.

The base is the same as G6 but with more places added to it to make it more of a real life island
