Final PC System Requirements

Now if you have a PC that doesn't meet the minimum settings does not mean it won't run, it just means it will not run as well as the console version.

Or at least not at the same quality as the console version. I know I'll be running this at 800x600 on probably low to medium settings. I run Assassins Creed at that, I run Dead Space at that, I run Fallout 3 at that. I accept it.

I still think the minimum sys specs are very high......... That's what makes me think they are fake because that means some with a AMD lower than 2.4GHZ won't be able to play it all that well compared to someone with the minimum of 1.8GHZ Core2Duo. It's really making me wonder if IGN did the same mistake as GFWL did is put out system requirements that they made up and if it isn't horrible port. Because if you look at all the other ports the graphics card is only needed a 6800GS/GT and processor of P4 2.8GHZ or so and ram of 1.5GB

I am not worried that my PC will run it bad i am worried that i will not be able to Maxx the Settings out...I want all traffic Jams and Max draw Distance. I hope my X2 5000+ will get it

im not going to buy the game due to that retarded specs, consoles use 2 cores for IV, why would PC need to use a quad?

8600M GS 256MB(8500GT and around 7600GT equivalent)

Intel Core2Duo 1.83GHZ

4GB RAM

and a 15.4" monitor 1280x800 8MS response I might get low @ 1024x768

And also, someone tell me why the Core2Quad and Phenom X3 are considered on the same level. The X3 comes no where close to the performance of the quad core (perhaps the X4 would have), not to mention the difference in clock frequencies too. How can both of them be equally recommended when the performance of the Phenom X3 matches that of Intel's Core2Duo. The only difference one can find in the Core2Quad and the X3 is the power consumption because of one less core, nothing else.

i think i need a new motherboard to play gta iv becuse my pentium D is not good does somebody know a good type motherboard that can handle gta iv on high and that is not verry expancive ?

Because the PC version has longer viewing distances, less pop-up and denser traffic (more AI to be loaded and calculated). And Quad is just recommended, Core2Duo should work just fine for most gamers...

CRYSIS REQS FTW!

Crysis look like 10x better in Details than GTA IV. Just look at those sh*tty trees in GTA IV. No compare to the graphical brilliance of a Crysis. Even Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 has much much lower requirements.

 

I believe the Only Reason for that Quad Core desaster is that you can maxx out the pedestrians and the Traffic in the Game.

i can play medal of honor airborne on high

and call of duty 4

i dont know sure but if this games are heavyer then gta iv i think i can handle gta iv and then i dont need a other motherboard
