Members can make polls now?!?

Sure its possible. Staff's choice though. It would probably begin with a Warning though which would scare the user enough to stop for a week.

Well, if the guy (for example) abused the system more than 6 times and spamming, you could be sure that I'd ban him for one or two weeks.

Easiest way is to either ban the user from posting completely, or remove the function from all members, as a result causing a manhunt on the retard that caused it.

Indeed, and the polling option does encourage people to make stupid topics. Or so that is the indication they would get. If it is not there, some of these stupid question topics are going amiss, but obviously not all.

I think its been getting worse since they let everyone use it. I don't mind so much in the Gaming section being as I guess thats just how things are getting voted this time round. But I don't see the need in the Gen chat area. Polls in there seem to get worse every time one is made. I don't feel the need to make polls and I'm sure a lot of other members don't care either. If they wanted one that badly they could always PM someone who'd make one in that topic.

Yep polls are definately getting worse, with some idiots abusing it. 90% of topics in gen chat are pointless / stupid.
